LISA's POV
"Lisa-yaaah! Chaeyoung-aah!"
Our friends greeted cheerfuly from the screen the moment they answered our call. It's now past 1 in the afternoon here in Australia which means it's now their lunch break from work since Korea was an hour behind Australia.
"What were you up to these days guys. We were waiting for your call since last week Chaeng-Ah." Jennie uttered sounding a little sad and disappointed.
"Sorry Unnie we've been busy with the IVF process and Lisa and I have been feeling a little unwell this past week and we don't want you to worry about us that's why we chose not to call for that time being." Chaeyoung answered apologetically at them.
"What? What happened? Are you guys okay now?" Irene and Jennie shot the question in unison while all of our friends were looking at at us with utter concern.
"Yeah Unnie, Jen-Jen. We're okay now."
"We just suffered mild cramps after the process but the doctors assured us that it's just normal." I answered assuringly which somehow eased their worry.
"Yes Lili. I remember having the same experience before during our IVF process. It felt like hell to be honest." Jennie uttered in a grimaced look recalling the things she and Jisoo have endured before.
"Yeah, mild cramps my ass. It was the worst." I agreed exasperatedly.
"So Unnie, tell us what exactly you and Chaeng have gone through those process." Tzuyu suddenly asked which made Irene and Jen-Jen look at each other and flashed a knowing smile.
"Why so curious all of a sudden Tzuyu-yah?" Irene asked teasingly which suddenly shuts their tall maknae up. Tzuyu looked down and smiled sheepishly avoiding their teasing gaze.
"Nothing. I'm just curious."
"I mean, aren't we all?" she answered defensively which earned her another tease from our friends.
"Yeah, if you're only interested in having a baby." Yeri bantered smirking which cause Tzuyu to blush.
"And since we all are interested with IVF process like what Tzuyu claimed earlier then I'm going ask about it too." Yeri continued never withdrawing her teasing gaze.
"Oh shut up." Tzuyu shot back supressing a smile but their friends kept on giving her an inquisitive look, leaving her no choice but to confess.
"Alright. I want to have a baby too."
"But in the future. Not now." she admitted sheepishly making all of their Unnies smile lovingly at her..
"Well look at that. Isn't that interesting?"
"Imagine Tzuyu having a baby?"
"I wonder what the baby would turn out." Jeongyeon bantered flashing that annoying smile.
"Imagine getting a slap or a smack from the little turd cause baby Tzuyu doesn't want to be kissed." she uttered grinning which earned her a fit of laughter from my friends. Even Alice who was with us was laughing hard about Jeongyeon's antics.
"Yeah and imagine cheering and playing peekaboo with baby Tzuyu only to be given back a dead stare or an exasperated sigh." Seulgi seconded imitating Tzuyu's signature serious look making everyone laugh harder.
"Yeah, but imagine my child being the exact little version of her Mom." Tzuyu said with a heartfelt smile as she look lovingly at Sana who at the moment was busy with Jisoo on the other table. Everyone fell silent and smiled at how pure and heartfelt her words were.
