Chapter 4

Two days has passed since Kyoshi told you about the match yet no confirmation had been given to you by Kyoshi on the news.
"Good Morning Y/n-chan where is Sakai-san?" Sumiko asked as you took your seat. "Oh they had morning practice today so he came to school earlier than usual". " So any news on the practice match?" Sumkio asked though by seeing your face she had already guessed the answer.

"No ,actually-" you started but got cut off as Kiyoshi barged into the classroom turning all eyes to him. "N/mmmmm the practice match will be held" Kiyoshi basically shouted. You just wanted to crawl up and hide yourself due to his behavior in front of the class. He walked upto to you to see you giving him a death glare "What?" Kiyoshi asked confused but got his answer as he turned around to see every eyes on both of you. "Hehe sorry" Kiyoshi apologized with a silly smile.

"So what were you saying about the practice match?" Sumiko asked to Kiyoshi after everyone settled down.
"Yeah I was saying that coach finally agreed!" Kiyoshi clapped his hands. No sooner a notification popped up in your mobile.

You smiled at the phone already knowing his message and replied him.

Sugawara.K:
Be ready Y/n we are coming .

You:

"So they will be coming on Sunday?" you asked as you and Kiyoshi walked home. "Ya four days from now but they will not be coming rather we will be going.That's what Coach said and yeah I asked him whether you could come or not and he said he do not have a problem with it" Kiyoshi finished. You jumped and warped your arms around his neck hugging him "Thank you Yoshiiii you are the best". "I know" he said as you two burst into laughter.

~Timeskip to 2 days before practice match~

"N/mmmm pleaseee help me don't be like that" Kiyoshi whined and followed you
"No means no Sakai Kiyoshi. I already told you" you sighed at the boy. Just two day were left for the practice match and Kiyoshi has injured his hand while trying to cook and had been telling you to help as a manager for the match from past 1 hour but you turned him down again and again.

"Yoshi you know that how socially awkward I'm, right? and not just that Kuroo will also be there which will make me more nervous and awkward!" you shouted at him "But-" he started. "And how do you know that they will not have a problem with 'substitute manager' " You cut him off. "Listen Y/n I will be there too so don't think much and I have already talked with coach he nor the team has any problem as long as you say yes" Kiyoshi said in a soft tone. You sighed, "You owe me one". " Yayy! I love you Y/n" Kiyoshi tightly hugged you.

Sugawara.K:
I'm excited asf to meet you.

You:
Me too and on sunday be ready for a surprise

Sugawara.K:
What type of surprise are you talking about?

You:
Oh you will know soon Sugamama😝

After talking with Suga you went to sleep or at least you tried too because you couldn't sleep with all the thoughts about Sunday running through your head.

~Timeskip to tomorrow morning~

"Ughh let me sleep you little-" you yawned but Kiyoshi didn't stop shaking you and telling you to wake up. "Y/n please get up or we are going to be late" Kiyoshi whined. "Ughhh Ok I'm getting up don't scream" you waked up and got into bathroom while Kiyoshi waited outside.
"Yoshi we are running early from the meeting time" You said while walking to school. "You need to be introduced first so I thought it will be better to arrive a little early"Kiyoshi said and you nodded.

You stood in front of the Gym door with Kiyoshi by your side. "Ready?" Kiyoshi asked with a soft smile.You just hummed in response and then as soon as Kiyoshi opened the door every eye fell upon you including Kuroo's. "Hellooo guys see who I brought!" Kiyoshi pulled you by your wrist inside the Gym. "Will you be our 2nd manager?Please say Yes!", the tall boy with blonde and black hair exclaimed. "Tora just shut up or you will sacre her" a pudding head boy said in monotone.

"Umm hii guys I'm L/n Y/n and-" you started "-and she will help me for a day or two because I injured my hand" Kiyoshi finished. You was the boy named Tora's eyes lit up while the rest of the team gave you a welcoming smile. Coach Nekomata walked up to you "Hello L/n I'm glad you are here to help our team" he said with a smile "No sir it's my pleasure to help you guys".

Kuroo's Pov:-

"Oh I know her, she's the girl in my class who got more marks than me in chemistry" Kuroo thought after seeing you. Kuroo never talked with Y/n even though she was in the same class as him because it wasn't necessary. Y/n was always with a black short haired girl and didn't talked much with anyone. Kuroo always thought Y/n had some attitude issue so she doesn't talk with anyone much that's why he didn't even bother to talk with her but he couldn't deny he loved the mysterious vibes she gave , after Y/n got more than Kuroo on the chemistry test it just pushed his will to talk with her further to but he didn't knew how to approach so he just let it pass.

"Hey" Kuroo went to where Y/n was and started a conversation.

Your Pov:-

You were going through the statics that Kiyoshi gave you about the players when you sensed someone approaching you yet you didn't bother to look up from the paper. "Hey" a almost familiar male voice started. Now you looked up to see a tall figure standing in front of you with bedhair and hazel eyes, Your heartbeat picked up at the sight though you knew you have to face Kuroo still you can't help but feel nervous. "Umm hi" you said shortly trying to keep your composure.
"Thank you for helping us L/n." Kuroo stated with a smile while you both just stood there not knowing what to say. "Y/n please help me here"Kiyoshi called you out. "Coming" you left Kuroo with a smile while he walked back to court.
"Dumbass. Why didn't I say something!?" you scolded yourself in mind, suddenly you felt a tap on your shoulder "So wouldn't you thank me to save you from the awkward moment?" Kiyoshi smirked when you arrived there. "Shut up Yoshi" you rolled your eyes at him.

After the practice you got to know how amazing the Team was. They were also quite friendly with you. The team even invited you to walk together to store so you all could eat something which you were gonna decline politely but Kiyoshi already said that you were coming.
