One day, there was a baby girl fox which had just been born. She was very adventurous and her name was Trixie. After a few weeks, she was understanding the world and was making friends. She had two friends which were very special to her. Their names were Russell the Rabbit and Daisy the Bird. One night, Trixie snuck out of her burrow and woke up Russell and Daisy. They slowly crept out of the forest, and onto the road. Then all of a sudden, they saw two bright lights coming closer and closer, then all of a sudden...... Whoosh!!! Trixie's mother pushed them all onto the other side of the road. They were waiting to go back into the forest, but the road was too busy! For the rest of the night, they had to sleep on that side of the road. In the morning, they all crossed over when there was time and all went back into the forest. They were all relieved to be back home and safe!!! A couple of months later, Trixie was a big strong fox and she still was friends with Russell and Daisy. Every night from that incident, they would go and explore the rest of the forest. One time they came across a lake which was frozen because it was Winter. They tried to cross it, but Trixie kept on falling, so Russell tried to push her along, and Daisy directed them. On the other side of the lake was a forest of deer . In that deer forest was Bambi, and he became friends with Trixie. So every second night, Trixie would meet up with Bambi at the lake, and every other night, Trixie would meet up with Russell and Daisy!!!
