A Year To A Better Life

It had been a year since the battle of the God's and Supernatural. Hope and the squad were about to graduate and move to New York. The move to New York was decided so that the girls could continue their studies in college. The three of them would start in Colombia majoring in business.

Jed, Kaleb and Mg was offered to start working for Kai at his security firm. They didn't see any reason to continue to study since they were already offered a job that they would love, it also gave them a reason to move to New York with the girls so that they would still be together and close to their goddaughter.

Penelope on the other hand would continue to study as well in New York but would majoring in law since her girlfriend would be opening their own company someday and she wanted to be prepared just in case they would need it.

Klaus bought a townhouse for the girls as a late wedding present for them. When the girls were about 3 months in before graduation he started the renovation of the building.
He got them a 12 level Townhouse and made sure that the 3 top leveled was made to full penthouse apartments while the others was made into smaller apartments that they could rent out and the bottom level had a front desk that also had an apartment. It was due to be done before the summer would end just in time for the girls to start school.

Now the squad was having a farewell dinner with the Saltzman/Parker and Mikaelson family.

"Don't worry guys I will keep an eye on the kids, and I will be visiting them often so that I can babysit our granddaughter while they are in class" Kai said with a smile

"Yeah, the guys will be just below us and we still have Penelope and Lizzie" Hope said looking at her parents.

"It's not that we don't trust you girls we do it's just the idea that Nicole leaving her home" Hayley said and Josette felt the same.

"I don't like it either, but they are old enough to leave and it's not like they won't be gone forever. We can always go and visit them" she said with a sad smile who was trying not to cry out herself.

"In other notes... I have a very late wedding present for the two of you" Klaus said and gave the girls a folder of papers.

"What is this?" Hope asked her father who began to look through it and noticed the name of her wife and daughter.

"It's your wedding gift. I got you girls a twelve-storey building and converted them into apartments. The top 3 as penthouses and the others as smaller apartments for you to rent out if you want" he said with a smile. Hope and Josie was surprised, and the others was just speechless.

"The building is yours and Josie's name as well as Nicole. I made sure that it be kept in the family" he said with a smile. "This is so cool, we won't need to look for an apartment anymore" Mg said.

"Yeah, I agree, the guys could just take one of the lower penthouses" Lizzie said. "Is it close to our school or do we have to drive there?" Hope asked and her father nodded.

"Yes, just a twenty-minute walk from there but it does have a garage it's big and you can have up to 20 cars in there" he said, Josie was smiling wide. She wanted to have her first car and take it with her when they move. "When is the renovation done?" The brunette asked.

"It's halfway done. The bottom level to level 8 is still in process but it you can move in at any time" he said, this made Josie very happy. "We have to go see it before we start school so we can start to design the rooms and get the things we need to make it to a home" Josie was happy to know that they have a home when they move out to the big city.

Hope loved to see her wife happy and excited to move and start their life in the big city. She was happy that the twins and their friends would be there with them as well as Kai. "We can do that if you want, the guys can look over at the apartment below us so they too can get the things they need" she happily said to her wife.
