caitlin approached her common room. the portrait of the fat lady swinging open to let her and her best friend ginny enter. the two looking like an odd pair of best friends seeing as ginny the fiery headed quidditch player of 5,7 towered over caitlin. caitlin envied how ginny stood out. she was never afraid to talk. her appearance one that could take the notice of everyone in the room.
caitlin was quite a timid girl. contradictory of her house nature. gryffindors we're supposed to be bold and stand their ground. but she never felt enough courage for that. she would cower under the potions teachers shadow if he was to turn on her.
caitlin was beginning her fourth year at hogwarts and vowed to herself that this year would be different. that she would make something of herself. prove herself to belong in gryffindor house.
