It's not like you hated the fact that Hobi was tutoring you. It was just...inconvenient at times.

At first, it had been easy. Easy to ignore the buzzing in your chest every time he took a seat next to you. Easy to ignore the warmth in your cheeks when your hands accidentally brushed against each other. Easy to ignore how cute he looked when concentrating while explaining something.

But, like all things when feelings get involved, it became harder to ignore them over time. You knew that your grades were kind of important but no matter how hard you tried to concentrate: it just didn't work. Was it because math was most possibly the most boring and annoying subject ever? Partially. But the real problem was the beam of sunshine if you were honest. On lucky days you would be concentrated for about half of the tutoring lesson. On less lucky days your ability to concentrate would vanish after five minutes top.

Tonight would be one of those nights. You just felt it in your gut. The confirmation was given the moment you had opened your door.

He had arrived at 4 o'clock sharp like always and just like always, you had practically been waiting by the door. You swayed the door open and there he was: fluffy brown hair, twinkling eyes, and the signature bright smile that puts the sun to shame. "Hi, yoongi!" He chirped happily. "Hi hobi" you greeted back as you let him enter your dorm.

"Want some sprite?" You asked, already pouring a glass of said drink. "Yes pleasee" you received as a response which brought a smile to your face. You took the glass with you to your desk and placed it in front of him while he was laying out the homework.

"Let's start, shall we?" he said, holding up his thumbs next to his face cutely.

"This is going to be a very non-productive tutoring session," You thought to yourself as you agreed.

Before long, you were already an hour in and you hadn't soaked up anything he had said. It was unfair, really. When namjoon had suggested you to text his friend hobi to ask for tutoring he hadn't mentioned how gorgeous the ray of sunshine was. His face is like a magnetic field, while your eyes are just helpless little magnets, constantly urging you to look at him.

It only got worse as the room grew darker and hobi turned on a little lamp you had located on your desk. When he turned it on his beautiful side profile got contoured in just the right ways by the warm glow, making him look like a sculpted angel. He was so breathtakingly beautiful. Usually, you would just sneak glances in his direction but this time you didn't even bother. You just stared at him openly and unashamed.

"-and that's how you solve this. Not that hard, right?" Hobi said satisfied as he had explained the equation he was currently on.

At the lack of response you provided him with, he turned his head to you.

"Yoongi?" waving a hand in front of your face.

"Hm?" You blinked at him, not having realized that he had asked you a question.

"Did you hear a word of what I said?" He asked, face lightly tilted to the right, making him look a bit like an adorable puppy.

"No" you answered honestly with a dopey smile. You expected him to be irritated or something but he just chuckled.

"Seems like you're with your head in the clouds again. Who got you so distracted lately?" He questioned as he fell back against the back of his chair. The way the light hit him in that position, looking at you like that, really did things to your heart. You turned your face away, cheeks burning. "Nobody" you offered weakly and tried to avoid this topic by making a grab for the math notes. Unfortunately, hobi was quicker and put the notes where you couldn't reach them.
