Bayley was buttoning her shirt when she got a text. She smiled delightedly at the name, Sasha was texting her at 6 in the morning. Expected as she was a morning person. She put her phone in her back pocket and grabbed the rest of her things from the unfamiliar counter. Bayley quietly left the hotel room hoping she wouldn't wake up the woman under the covers. Last night she met the woman at a random bar, she couldn't place her finger on her name but they hooked up.

She pulled her phone out of her back pocket reading the message again.

"Hey Bay, meet me at the cafe we always go to <3?"

Bayley grinned and nodded to herself. She texted Sasha back and threw her phone to the passenger seat in her rental car. It was an early Friday morning so Bayley was in Florida for TV later in the day. She drove towards the cafe while going karaoke mode in the car.

Once she arrived, she fixed her appearance a little bit. Bayley always tried a little bit more when she was seeing Sasha. Being undeniably in love with her best friend for 3 years does that. She couldn't tell Sasha though, it would change everything. Bayley had just gotten over her breakup with her longtime boyfriend. Even if she was in love with Sasha for 3 years of that period.

Bayley walked into the cafe and smiled brightly when she spotted Sasha at their regular table. She was in sweats and an oversized hoodie. Her glasses framing her beautiful face. Bayley admired Sasha more than she liked to admit. She walked over to the table and screamed slightly into her ear. Sasha jumped and punched Bayley playfully.

"You doofus don't scare me like that" Sasha yelped

Bayley laughed and pouted "What are you not happy to see me?" She teased

Sasha rolled her eyes but smiled "You know you're my favorite person in the world."

"And you're mine" Bayley added

Bayley sat down across from Sasha and smiled before looking at the menu. Sasha instinctively leaned her body forward and glanced at Bayley's appearance. Was she wearing the same clothes as yesterday...? Sasha scanned Bayley's neck and spotted a red love mark. Silently snickering, realizing what her best friend was up to last night.

Sasha pouted but soon forgets about it knowing Bayley wasn't her girlfriend. As much as she dreamed about it it wasn't real. Sasha has been head over heel over the older woman since NXT. She watched her best friend get engaged in tears. She'll say it's because she's happy for Bayley. But when she said "Yes" to the proposal. It was like a knife to the chest for Sasha.

Sasha would get along with Aaron as if they were best buds. Even if she longed to be the one Bayley would be married to. She went wedding dress shopping with Bayley and did everything a best friend would. That was until the Wedding got pushed back. As a WWE superstar, free time was very limited so they couldn't get a perfect date down. Sasha was glad it kept getting pushed back. She doesn't know what would happen if she had to watch her soulmate walk down the aisle to somebody else.

Along the years she'd seen their relationship struggle as all relationships do. Aaron would get jealous over silly things like Finn Balor. Eventually getting jealous of Sasha which she found hilarious. The number of times Bayley and Sasha have been confused for a couple in front of him was hilarious.

"Earth to Sasha HELLO" Bayley says waving her hand in front of Sasha. Which Sasha pushed away with a grin. "What's up loser," Sasha says before taking a sip of her water. Bayley rolled her eyes "I was asking why you wanted to meet up so early."

Sasha lowered her gaze down to Bayley's hickey. She ignored her question instead pointing to her neck. Bayley furrowed her eyebrows in confusion before taking her phone out to see what it was. Her eyes widened when she saw it. A hint of embarrassment washed over Bayley.

"You were busy I see" Sasha murmurs unpleasantly

Bayley bites her lip thinking of what to say next. Should she tell her about the woman or not say anything? The bartender was very sweet and someone she genuinely liked. "I met her at the bar last night. The one we went to last summer." She finally says choosing not to look at Sasha's eyes.

Sasha raises her eyebrows at "her" not knowing Bayley also went out with women. Sasha's heart leaped out of her chest. She had a chance. "You like girls?" she blurts out before saying anything else.

Bayley chuckles at the question. I like you, I'm in love with you. She glances at Sasha's lips and smiles before looking at her in the eyes and nods. Sasha smiled big when Bayley nodded. But her face dropped at the realization that she would start dating women. Women that were not her. She couldn't have that. That would destroy her. She will not sit any second more without telling Bayley how she feels.

"Bayley," Sasha says softly, staring at the table.

Bayley nods with a small smile waiting for Sasha to continue whatever she was gonna say. Sasha plays with her fingers on the table suddenly growing nervous. The words were stuck in her throat. Did she want to risk it all? She looked up and once more glanced at the hickey before shaking her head. Bayley grew concerned picking up all of Sasha's behavior. Her legs were bouncing up and down and she was playing with her fingers on the table. She couldn't even look at Bayley.

Bayley grabbed Sasha's hand and nodded in encouragement. She took a deep breath and smiled at their conjoined hands.

"Bay um....." She whispered before pausing to look into Bayleys eyes. "...since forever when I was a kid I wondered who my soulmate would be. I dreamed every day about meeting my other half." Sasha says eyes already tearing up.

Bayley was in tears herself feeling like her heart would jump out of her chest for Sasha. She didn't know what to say but Sasha continued. "When I first saw you at the Performance Center I knew. I knew how much you would mean to me. I've never had a close bond with anyone. But you were my first and only best friend....." Sasha says voice shaky.

Bayley wipes Sasha's tears that are threatening to fall before Sasha continues. "A...Throughout the years in NXT, I fell in love with you. You were everything good that I needed. All the light in my dark world. You made me a better person Bayley. But you were with Aaron and you seemed so happy. So I stayed silent and was content with just being your friend wh-

"Sasha" Bayley cries out, voice quivering.

Sasha shook her head "No Bayley let me finish please I've waited for so long. When you guys got engaged I thought that was it....you were in love and getting married. I couldn't take that away from you. You are all that matters to me. As long as you're happy I'll be happy. But...I...I want to be that person Bayley, I want to be the person that makes you happy." She chokes out sobbing

"Sasha stop please stop, it's always been you. You are that person can't you see that. You've always made me happy. I fell in love with you while I was in a relationship. You have my heart."

Sasha shakes her head and looks down sobbing uncontrollably. Bayley moves to sit next to her. She whispers down into her ear "Marry Me". Sasha widens her eyes and stares up in awe. "You want to marry me?" Bayley's heart can't take it anymore. She cups Sasha's face and kisses her. She could feel Sasha smiling into the kiss. This is all she's wanted for so long. What they both wanted.

Sasha pulled away first and climbed into Bayley's lap. "Do you mean it though...you want to marry me?" Bayley laughed and nods her head against Sasha's. "But first..." she pauses and grabs a pen and writes something down on a napkin making sure Sasha can't see before sliding it to her.

Sasha reads it and Bayley doesn't think she's ever seen her best friend smile so big. Sasha nods her head "Of course I'll be your girlfriend, you dork." Bayley picks her up and spins her around. Her girlfriend laughs against her neck before it stops. "Hey, you're not getting any more hickeys if they're not from me." She breathes out in a huff.

Bayley looks down in adoration with a small laugh. Her girlfriend in her chest in a random cafe. Where they didn't even order anything and it was 7 in the morning when people were just getting up. Where the workers were totally watching them in awe. But it was perfect. So perfect.

"I wouldn't have it any other way," Bayley says, kissing Sasha's head.
