15- Pay Back

Adrian decided to sneak into the hospital wing that night, he slowly opened the doors. Seeing Hyacinth asleep in bed, quickly putting a silent charm towards Madam Pomfrey's door. Quickly walking over to Hyacinth, he shook her softly as she groaned. "Hyacinth..." said Adrian softly.

"What is it, Adrian?" said Hyacinth softly, not opening her eyes. She felt Adrian's hand rub her forehead causing her to open her eyes.

"How did you know it was me?" asked Adrian with a smile. She tried sitting up but groaned and Adrian laid her back down softly.

"Who else would come to annoy me at," said Hyacinth stopping to look down at her watch. "Blimey Adrian, it's three in the morning."

"Yeah.. I couldn't sleep. I wanted to see if you were ok." said Adrian still having his hand on her forehead. She moved over a bit as he sat down next to her.

"I'm fine.." answered Hyacinth, she lied. She was in a extreme amount of pain, but she also didn't want Adrian to leave her.

"I placed the hairs of rose hips in Graham's bed.. so he'll wake up itching." said Adrian, Hyacinth couldn't help but laugh causing Adrian to smile. "I also used gloves, so no need to worry."

"How smart of you." said Hyacinth with a smile as she sat up, Adrian's smile faded causing him to sigh and look down.

"I'll never forget the night when I realize I was in love with you." said Adrian causing Hyacinth's smile to fall. "That night I realized it been you all along, that night I got butterflies in my stomach, that night I went to my dorm smiling and i'm pretty sure I was blushing, that night when you took me into the forest to show me your magical little creatures.. that night I fell in love with you."

"For merlin sake, Adrian." said Hyacinth using her non-injured hand to cover her face.

"You and Weasley.. what is that?" asked Adrian, Hyacinth shook her head, giving him a look. "If he's nothing then why was he so keen to stay here with you. He clearly must like you, Scamander."

"Scamander?" said Hyacinth looking taken back.

"Don't change the subject... do you like him or not?" asked Adrian softly. Hyacinth gave him a face, sighing, and sitting back against the hospital bed. Adrian turned to look at her, he got up, shaking his head. "That answered my question."

"Adrian." said Hyacinth trying to get up, Adrian was already half way out of the door. She flinched in pain and threw herself back on the bed, covering her face as her eyes filled with tears.

"Why aren't you asleep?" asked Miles coming down the stairs to see Y/n in the corner of the couch reading a book. She glanced up and smiled.

"Really don't like being in the dorms when others are awake." said Y/n, Miles chuckled and looked down at his watch.

"Well, it is three in the morning, i'm sure the others are asleep now." said Miles sitting down next to her, she shrugged and moved her body so she was now facing Miles.

"Why are you awake?" asked Y/n.

"Couldn't sleep and Adrian's missing from his bed." said Miles. Y/n rose her eyebrows and chuckled, turning back to her book.

"Oh yeah, I seen him sneaking out." said Y/n with a smile, Miles moved closer to her and narrowed his eyebrows looking down at her book.

"What are you reading?" asked Miles, he grabbed the book and made a face. "It's a muggle book?"

"Yes! Find them quite interesting, actually. Well, actually it's not a book! It's a play!" said Y/n, Miles made a face and narrowed his eyebrows.
