Nagising si Ashtrid dahil sa sinag ng araw na nagmumula sa kanyang malaking bintana. Kinusot niya ang kanyang mga mata upang mas maging malinaw ang kanyang paningin habang nakahiga sa kanyang kama. Sa kanyang pag-unat ng katawan ay naalala niya ang kanyang ginawang plano at agad niyang hinanap ito sa bawat sulok ng kanyang kuwarto. "Please wake up, your highness. I know that just putting an act, and I need to convey a message to you from the king, your father." Ashtrid opened her eyes and saw Matilda from the side of her bed. Matilda looked concerned. "What happened Matilda,? Is there something wrong?" She lightly caressed the Princess and sighed.

"According to his highness, you're not allowed to leave your room until he authorizes it. However, the purpose of the act is unknown." 

Ashtrid couldn't react to what Matilda mentioned. Most likely, her father retrieved her plan yesterday. However, her house arrest doesn't stop her. She knows what to do, and nothing will hinder her survival. Ashtrid faced her and let out a comforting smile, "Very well, I can't oppose his highness, right?" She stood up from her bed and put her two hands around her waist, "I'll be fine, Matilda."

My house arrest started today, and as the day went on, I noticed that every part of the manor consists of royal guards because I can hear their footsteps from the outside. "That child, there something in her that is perilous," the king replied while drinking his tea.

"What made you think that way, your highness?"

"She might be the chosen one according to the prophecy, so I need to protect her from people that might take advantage of her"
