Brother Like Brother

"ZhouKeyu...why is Patrick asleep on your lap?" Liu Yu asked as he walked into the shared dorm, taking his shoes off as he entered. He went to sit down in ZhouKeyu's bed, face covered with amusement as he pressed on.

"Well? Are you going to answer or should I get Nine to make you answer-"

"NO!" ZhouKeyu shouted, until he looked down and saw Patrick moving. "Shit..Patrick, shh...go back to sleep." ZhouKeyu played with his hair in attempts to lure Patrick back to sleep.

Patrick moved towards the touch and grabbed onto ZhouKeyu like a koala. ZhouKeyu looked down with loving eyes, and he would've kissed his forehead if Liu Yu wasn't staring at them. Liu Yu coughed loudly -much to ZhouKeyu's annoyance- to keep focus on the topic at hand.

"I would like to hear the story before dinner ZK." Liu Yu spoke annoyingly, but his look showed he was just teasing. ZhouKeyu looked up and gave a nervous expression. "Well you see..."

.~3 Hours Earlier~.

A quiet knock was at the doorstep, but ZhouKeyu already knew who it was. When he went to open the door, he was greeted with Patrick, ears pink and arms crossed, holding a bag of drinks in his hand.

ZhouKeyu smirked at the sight and leaned his body towards the door frame. "You're an hour late you know." ZhouKeyu teased lightly.

"I wasn't even supposed to be here in the first place, I had stuff to do you know." Patrick replied annoyingly, but he and ZhouKeyu both knew he had no plans today.

He just didn't want to say he made time for ZhouKeyu, he would never let it live him down.

"If you had stuff to do, why do you look like you were preparing for this?" ZhouKeyu questioned, raising his eyebrow. Patrick was wearing black shorts with an oversized purple sweatshirt. He was also wearing his earrings, a beanie, and the glasses ZhouKeyu gave him.

All and All, Patrick looked very cute. Too cute to handle.

Patrick looked up and down at ZhouKeyu, who was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, and looked down at himself. His face immediately turned red as he huffed and pushed pass ZhouKeyu to enter the room.

ZhouKeyu placed the chopsticks on the bed. He takes Patrick's hands in his own. "Patrick, look at me."

"Why?"

"Just do it."

"Okay.." Patrick replied, looking up at ZhouKeyu. He looked sad and afraid.

"Patrick, I love you okay. I know you're scared about me leaving you, and I know it's hard to trust someone, especially after what you went through, but I love you and only you. okay? You are basically never getting rid of me."

When ZhouKeyu finished talking, Patrick scanned his face for any sort of doubt and lies, but he found none. Patrick removed his hands out of ZhouKeyu's quickly and looked down. He knew his face was cherry red. "So cheesy." Patrick retorted.

"But you love me that way~" ZhouKeyu teased, which resulted in Patrick getting a pillow off ZhouKeyu's bed and throwing it at him in response.

"Just eat." Patrick whispered while getting a pair of chopsticks from the bag.

"Why eat when we can-mph!"ZhouKeyu started but was interrupted by an egg roll shoved into his mouth by Patrick. He rolled his eyes but continued to eat, looking at Patrick lovingly. ——————

"That's about it really." ZhouKeyu finished, hand still in Patrick's hair. "You told me everything but the answer to my actual question." Liu Yu deadpanned.

"Oh...right sorry. After we ate we planned to watch a movie, but he fell asleep 15 minutes in. I didn't really want to wake him up so we're here now." ZhouKeyu responded.

"Alright, well wake him up , dinner is at 15." Liu Yu said, as he got up from the bed and walked out of the room. ZhouKeyu nodded and looked down at Patrick, he chuckled to himself before gently shoving Patrick.

"Patrick wake up, we need to go eat dinner," he whispered.

"No..." Patrick whined, turning away from ZhouKeyu. "You sleep too much kitten, but get up we gotta go eat dinner. You don't want Nine to look for you right?"

At that statement Patrick groaned, but got out of bed as he was told. He started to head out of the room when ZhouKeyu got up and took his hand.

"What now?" Patrick whined while rubbing his eyes. ZhouKeyu chuckled and started fixing his hair with his hands.

After that he turned to the nightstand and grabbed Patrick's glasses and handed it to him. Patrick grumbled but nodded, taking the glasses out of his hand and continued leaving the room. "Love you Pai Pai." ZhouKeyu teased, which made Patrick turn around with a death glare.

"Stop calling me that," Patrick spoke, pointing a finger at him. "or else.."

"Or else what? You'll climb onto me like you did earlier?" ZhouKeyu reminded.

Patrick's mouth opened but he couldn't issue a response. He turned around and stormed out of the room, not knowing or caring about how he looked to Lin Mo passing by him. ZhouKeyu, all alone in the room, chuckled to himself as he went to fix his appearance for dinner.

"'I'm so whipped for him..'" he thought, as he grabbed his phone and headed downstairs to meet with everyone else. His mind was full of this date on his way there.
