"WHAT?!"

Ashton Ketchum is at my window. My mom was home and he could've been caught at any moment. At the same time, he is at my window. This was such a cliche. I knew I had about 30 seconds before I'd have to let him in.

"Uhh, I-I-I'll let you in a second, I just have to go upstairs to my room."

Nice save.

Ash then sighs and speaks up. "I heard you scream what through your phone, I know you're in your room."

Though I didn't hear him because my phone was on the edge of my bed and I was fixing my messy hair. I tie it into a neater bun and go to my window, and take a deep breath as I open it.

Ash's POV
I don't know why I came to her window. I promised myself to move on, and yet I keep coming back. She went into a room, came out so casually, and scolded me for being drunk in a car. Ok, that was dumb. I just want to make sure Miette was being truthful cause part of me believes she's just as innocent as she acts.

I exhaled, and could see the air, it was getting cooler outside. Why was I so desperate. My thoughts came to an end when the windows of the girls room started creaking. They began to slide as friction made it harder for her to slide the window open. I stick my hand out and push it open for her.

I was looking directly into her room. She had birch hardwood floors and a fluffy carpet under her bed. Walls were cream colour, with ornaments all over her wall. A messy desk with her computer and papers filling it. And then she standing in front of the mirror.

"You could've just knocked on the front door, I'm sure mom wouldn't mind" the blonde haired girl spoke.

I lightly grinned and just stared at her.

"So" she spoke. "How a-are things."

"Things are good" I replied honestly.

She seemed kind of awkward and shy, I wanted to come inside, but I was too scared to make her uncomfortable.

I took a moment to admire her looks. She was wearing a red hoodie that was somewhat baggy, and was just barely not covering the tight black shorts.

I sighed, what was I even doing.

"I can see your breath, it must be cold, you can come inside" she declared.

I smiled, and jumped through the medium size window. "Thanks Sere."

Serena sat on her bed cross legged.

"I need to tell you something" we both simultaneously said.

"You first" spoken at the same time again.

"I'll go first" I said, as the girl sitting nodded.

She scooted over and I  sat on the bed beside her. Her phone was just to the left of me.

"The party—

I was then cutoff. "Nothing happened Ash."

I looked at the girl I was sitting beside and gave her a confused look.

"I went into a room to call May and Dawn, when suddenly Calem and Miette barged in. Let me tell you, whatever I saw in there was weird and traumatizing" she said with a disgusted look.

I knew what she meant the moment I saw her expression. I smiled and looked at her. "Okay."

Serena then looked at me and began to move her lips. "Okay, but why were you so concerned about the party."

I was frozen in time. I did feel something for her, she was interesting and complex, but so fun to read and learn from.

"I don't know, I just don't like Calem and Miette, and you associating with them makes me jealous" I said with my head down.
