hey guys! i'm so sorry for slow uploads, they should be more frequent now, this is a short chapter but they will be frequent now so you won't be waiting long for the next chapter!!
nobodies POV
the bell to the bakery echoed around the busy street, full of Parisians
marinette exhaled as she looked around
she stared at the babies in buggies, the babies being held, the babies being burped, the babies being happy, the babies being sad
babies upon babies upon babies
"don't worry mari, we can do it" adrien said, holding her shoulders
"i hope" she sighed, laying her head into adriens hands
"come on, this way" adrien started, as he walked over to his car
marinette held her stomach tight, and walked over to the door of his car
adrien opened his car door for marinette to step inside
"after you ml- marinette" he covered, hoping she wouldn't notice
mari placed her phone down beside her in the phone holder
her legs shook with anxiety
her head pounded
her heart leaping out of her chest
"okay mari?" adrien comforted, placing a hand on her thigh, waking her up out of her daze
marinette shook her flustered face, and pushed some hair away from her eyes
"yes yes adrien i uh i'm just feeling really nervous" she panted
"shhh shh" adrien calmed her down, pulling her head into his chest
"i love you mari, and no matter what you'll always have me, my dad can screw himself if he doesn't want to love and support our family" adrien whispered
mari shakily took a breath, squeezing adriens hand
"come on, i can pick you up a mcdonald's on the way?" adrien suggested, reversing the car
"no thanks adrien, i need to get this over with first" she quietly said, looking directly into her hands
adrien placed his hand on her head rest, before nodding, and moving the car down the busy road.
as the car pulled up in front of the aggreste mansion, marinette unclicked her seatbelt, and shakily placed her hands around the door handle, opening it with anxiety
adrien took her hand, and pulled her out the car
"i promise everything will be okay" he said
"what if it's not" she whispered
"we'll then we can run away to a really nice place"
"what if your dad stops us"
"he might surprise us mari, he could really love this baby"
"i hope he does"
as the pair walked further into the gates of the aggreste mansion, adrien pressed the bell
a telescope looking machine flew out
"just me nathalie, and a friend, we'd like to see my father" adrien said
the camera nodded, and briskly tucked itself back into its original place
the gates creakily opened, and the pair walked down the winding path, into the mansion
the door opened, adrien's body guard stood still at the door, scanning marinette up and down, before nodding for her to go through
"relax mari" adrien said, clenching her hand
maris breath hovered around the walls.
gabriel aggreste arose from the top of the stairs.
