Safe to say I'm obsessed with the kyalin and kyalinzumi ships. Anyways idk if this is triggering but TW: cheating. Also this is kinda a AU.

The woman had decided to come home early after not feeling well. She picked up some food on the way home for her girlfriends and two bouquets of flowers. As she pulled up outside of her house, she saw a unknown car in her parking spot but she assumed it was a friend of one of her partners. Lin walked inside and put her things down. She took some medicine for the headache she had and went to the bedroom.

"Kya? Zumi?" She heard whispering and rustling from the room and she sensed another person in the room with them. Preferably another woman. Lin leaned against the wall and waiting quietly for them to think she was gone. The unknown woman opened the bedroom door and ran out just to see Lin waiting with a smirk. "Go on. You probably didn't even know about me." The woman nodded in confirmation and left. "You two can come out now!!" Her soon to be ex-girlfriends walked out slowly with guilt written all over their faces. "Living room."

Kya: "W-what are you doing home so early?"

Lin: "Wasn't feeling well and wanted to surprise you guys..."

Izumi: "Well we-"

Lin: "Were fucking another woman." She was dangerously calm about the whole situation which scared them. They all sat in the living room. Kya and Izumi on one couch, Lin sitting on the one in front of them. "How long?"

Izumi: "Since you've been working overtime..." Lin calculated in her head and shook her head, her foot tapping the floor.

Lin: "Four months? Hm I'm surprised I never noticed." The foot tapping got more aggressive and Kya looked at Izumi nervously. "All the signs were there..."

Kya: "We're sorry. We really are. I know there's nothing we can do to make it up to you. And there's no excuse we can use on why we did it."

Lin: "You done? It doesn't matter. Keep the house. I have enough money to move out."

Izumi: "What do you mean?"

Lin: "What do you think I mean?" The metal bender stood up abruptly and looked at them. "Was it something I did? Something I didn't do? Maybe it was me working overtime and not giving the attention you guys deserved. Of course it's my fault. It's always my fault. What is up with people cheating? First Tenzin then his sister? Maybe it's a family thing. No offense. Maybe it's the air bender genes...." Now she was rambling and crying openly. The last time she cried was when she got her bending taken. "Maybe it runs in the Beifong blood line for bad luck and skipped a generation... Su seems fine though... Maybe it's just me? Has to be."

Kya: "Lin it's not you it's us... I sound like someone out of a mover but it's true." Lin walked past them and opened a small drawer, pulling out two small boxes. She threw it on the table in front of them.

Izumi: "What's that?"

Lin: "No the real fucking question is what's tomorrow."

Kya: "Friday?" Izumi smacked her forehead and groaned.

Izumi: "Shit! Lin I'm so sorry."

Lin: "Too late. I'll be out by Sunday." She wiped her tears and walked out of their house. She crushed their cars with metal bending then proceeded to walk down the street. "Always me... Maybe I'm not meant for a relationship...."

Kya: "What's tomorrow Izumi?"

Izumi: "Your making it worse. It was our six year anniversary...."

Lin didn't come home that night. No one had heard from her in weeks. Some say she ran away. Some say she unalived herself. Some say she went to the swamp with her mother. Only one of those theories were true but which one? They made a search party for Lin but no one ever found her. Her location remanded unknown....
