X: The strangest way or the best way someone joined the cast? The best, I think it was Kingdom Craft guys. When Kingdom Craft got canceled, our producer decided to just have them drop in on the last episode of season 3. Scared the crap out of me. The strangest way, probably Tango. He originally was hired as a tech team member, but after he started to show off some of his acting skills, he was swapped over to acting for a week then back to tech. Halfway through season 2, he was swapped back.

Doc: So funny thing, we are all hybrids, but to different degrees. Cleo is a zombie hybrid who stays in human/mob form, Jevin is a slime who stays in mob form, and I'm a creeper who stays in mob form. The only special effects for me is my robot parts, which is CGI.
Jevin: I have to drink a lot of blue drinks before and during filming in order to stay this shade of blue. My castmates have pranked me more than once with it, like by making me glow for a week straight.
Cleo: Make up baby. Also wigs, zombie form no matter how much I am will always ruin my hair.
X: Not sure where this rumor of our hybrid actors are just special effects, but no. The company that produces Hermitcraft doesn't do that. They hire all kinds of people, doesn't matter the gender, age, or if they are a hybrid or not.

Doc: Nope. Being a creeper, and playing one allows me to get away with blowing up stuff. I think the only ones who are annoyed at playing a normal looking character is the resident half demon and the half avian. They complain constantly.
Jevin: Doc is right about that. They only tell us we aren't allowed to use our full power set.
Cleo: They found a way to keep me from burning up in the sun, which makes me happy.
