A hand grabbed my arm as I rushed out of my last period class. Instructively, I flinched at the unwelcomed touch and the hand that wrapped around my forearm was no longer there.

"Aiden?" I I looked at the frantic looking older male who couldn't seem to keep his hand out of his already messed up hair.

His body language screamed anxious, scared, angered, scared and worried. His eyes were swirling with all the same kinds of emotions, anger, panic, fear, and most of all, worry.

"Do you have all your stuff?" He questioned, his voice sounding just as frantic as he looked.

"No, some books are still in my locker." I dismissed his question quickly, responding with my own, "Aiden, what's going on?"

"Okay, go get your stuff and meet outside." He ignored my question and abruptly turned towards the direction to exit the school.

"But I thought Damon was picking me up?" I called behind Aiden's retreating figure.

"Damon's at the hospital!" Aiden called heedlessly over his shoulder.

Suddenly I was aware of the attention on me from the rest of the student body that has just heard what Aiden said.

But that moment was one of the times where I couldn't ponder of what other people thought.

I gave myself time to process what he just said.

Damon's at the hospital.

That sentence could mean a lot of things though.

It could mean he was visiting someone, or -wishful thinking here- but he could've have had a psychiatric therapy session like I did.

That sentence could've meant anything.

It occurred to me that I had to haul ass if I wanted to know what was happening and I sprung into action. I made it to my locker then to the the exit of the school while the rest or the students were taking their sweet time.

I angered a lot of students as I ran through the crowd, pushing whoever was in my way out of it, and I could not have cared less.

Aiden was outside waiting for me in the passenger seat of one of my brothers' SUVs with Elliot in the driver's seat. The two of them were having what looked to be a very serious conversation when Elliot caught my eye.
