PETER AND Y/N ENTERED the car, and sat beside each other in the backseat, while Happy was in the driver's seat.

"Hey, Happy," Y/n greeted instantly. Happy looked at her through the rear view mirror and asked, "How'd everything go?"

"Brilliant," she replied, smiling. The car began moving – heading to the airport, and Y/n stared out of the window.

Every thing – every little thing, reminded her of her dad. How they used to drive together through the woods, through the busy city of New York, everywhere, really.

And to think that she would never have that anymore pained her.

Y/n looked down at her knuckles, as little blue sparkles came out of her hands. She decided that she'd tell Peter about her powers right now.

"I need to tell you something," said Y/n, turning to Peter. His eyes widened, and he turned bright red. Peter seemed nervous, but he nodded anyways. "Ye– yeah?" he stuttered.

"I don't know how to say this," she sighed, "You're going to think i'm weird." Peter began fiddling with his fingers– heart beating out of his chest. He was expecting Y/n to tell him that she liked him, more than friends type of like.

"Well–" he gulped, "Well, is it a bad thing?"

"Not really," she replied. "Go on then," said Peter, "Tell me."

"I have superpowers."

His face dropped. Peter was speechless, his expectations were crushed. Rather than a love confession, he got an absurd statement.

His jaw hung open – unable to say anything.

Happy, who overheard the conversation, had his eyes widened. "What?" Happy asked in disbelief, "You have what?"

"Superpowers," Y/n replied, repeating what she said. Peter shut his mouth, and stared down at his lap, dumbfounded.

"What kind of superpowers?" Happy asked, "How'd you get them?"

"I didn't tell anyone until i got a call about Wanda," Y/n replied, "I got them after my dad died, apparently i can fly and i have telekinesis now."

"That's fun," Peter blurted out, not knowing what to say. "It's not," Y/n shook her head, "More responsibility."

"You should talk to someone about it, Y/n," Happy suggested, "Dr. Strange! I'll see if i have his number right now—"

"No, no!" Y/n shouted, making Happy drop his phone. "What?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows, "Why?"

"I don't want anyone to know for now," said Y/n, "I want to put all of this aside, enjoy my time with my friends and family, get over my dad's death, and when i'm ready, i'll reach out to him."

"That's fair," Happy nodded, "I won't call him."

"Thank you."

"But do you want to train, Y/n?" Peter abruptly asked. "What do you mean, train?" Y/n asked back.

"Well, you can't fully control your powers yet, can you?" Peter said, "Once we get back to New York, we can figure it out."

"Peter, i just want to pretend they don't exist," Y/n rejected, "For now at least."

"Okay," Peter nodded understandingly, "Once we get back to New York, we'll get milkshakes down at the diner, and get sandwiches at Mr. Delmar's."

Y/n grinned excitedly. "That sounds amazing," she said, before resting her head on Peter's shoulder. "Wake me up when we get to the airport, okay?"

Peter smiled, blushing a little bit. He brushed the hair that were covering Y/n's face and whispered, "Yeah, yeah, i'll let you know."

"Just rest for now," he said, "I know you're exhausted."
