The rainy day

Taehyung's POV

I was walking back from dance practice with the other guys like normal. We were almost to the dorm when I saw a woman came out of an alley. I shrugged and I heard crying from the alleyway. It was a rainy day so this was weird. I nervously walk in to hear the crying getting louder. The other guys calling me but I ignored them. The crying got louder and louder and that's when I saw her. "Hyungs!" I shouted and they ran into the alley. "Taehyung what happened?!" Jin asked but than froze when he saw the car seat and inside was a baby girl who was barely a year old. "Hyung, what do we do?" I asked "We can't just leave her here. But we'll take her to the dorm and we'll see how she does with us. and if she's fine till tomorrow, we can keep her." said Namjoon. Jin picked up the car seat but realized something. "Guys this is nailed to the ground!" He said pointing to the nails underneath the seat. Jin tried to pick up the baby but she cried louder. "Let me try." I said. Yoongi scoffed and said that she'll cry even more if I picked her up. But he was wrong, I picked her up for the first time and it was like a switch was flipped, because she stopped crying at that moment. "I guess sense she only calms down with you, you can keep her." Namjoon said and my face lit up with happiness. "But you need to take care of her." He added and I nodded. "I promise I would be the best father ever hyung!" I said. I was discussing with Namjoon so long that the other guys were leaving. I quickly catch up with them and walk inside soaking wet. Leaving Namjoon outside. Jin demanded everyone to wash up for dinner but we had a problem.

And when I mean problem I mean by I can't use the bathroom without setting off an alarm. The baby became attached to me which was surprising sense most kids would rather be with Jimin or Jungkook. But this was different, this baby chose me. "Hey Taehyung-shi, what are you naming her?" Jimin asked me. I look at the baby and I smile. She smiled back reaching her hands out for me. I let her nibble on one of my fingers which didn't hurt because she didn't have teeth yet. "Ah! I know a name for her!" I said and Jimin jumps back. "Y/n Kim." I said softly looking at the infant. "Fits her." Jimin said with a chuckle. "But, you do know babies need baby stuff and we're a house full of men." He added. "Oh right." I said softly. Jimin looked at my face changed from happy to sad. "But, sense you saved her. I think there's a store that sells baby stuff." He added. He pointed to a store across the street. I nod and went to my room to get my wallet. I tell Jin I will be going out for a while and I'll be back soon and he nods.

I tried my best to keep Y/n dry but she including me got soaked. I quickly ran into the store and grabbed a cart. I placed Y/n in the cart and went to the baby section.

"Okay we have the baby clothes, diapers, bottles, baby food, and your baby crib in the cart. But what are we forgetting I know we're missing one." I said to myself looking at the cart. Meanwhile, Y/n had her eye on a polar bear stuff animal

And was trying to reach it. I look over to see her reaching for it and I smile. I hand her the toy and she cling onto it. "Looks like my winter bear found a new friend" I chuckled and I realized I was missing toys. I went to the toy section and got her a small elephant toy, that one hippo toy that squeaks, a tiger, an Eevee plush (if you don't know what Eevee is it's a Pokémon.), and I found a BT21 baby TaTa in the back. But I think her most favorite is the polar bear. I walked the cashier and placed all the stuff down so she can pay for it. "Is that all?" The cashier asked me. "Yeah that's all." I said as I nuzzled Y/n. "Okay have a good afternoon." She said handing me the bags. I thank her and I walk out side.

I ran back to the dorm and quickly closed the door before it started raining hard. Jin looked at me confused and saw that I was holding little Y/n and some bags. "Hyung help." I said shivering. He ran to my side and grabbed the bags filled with her toys. "Oh can you give the polar bear to Y/n?" I asked and he reached into the bag. He pulled out the polar bear and Y/n burst into giggles reaching for the bear. Jin hands her the bear and she hugs it tight. Jin chuckled at her reaction and turned to me. "You better take good care of her."he said. "I know hyung." I replied.

Y/n was blowing bubbles and I began to play with her. "Ap!" She squealed and she grabbed my finger. "Yes Appa." I said softly. Jungkook ran inside the room after I heard him call Jimin short. Jin scolded the both of them and Y/n smiled at Jimin. "Hey Jimin-ah. Looks like someone wants to see you." I said holding up my daughter. "Hey babygirl." He cooed holding her tiny hand. "Op." She said in her cute baby voice. Jimin laughed and quickly went back to chasing Jungkook who was gone. "He ran into the bathroom!" I shouted and I heard a groan from the bathroom. Jungkook burst out and the ran into the wardrobe. I heard Y/n whining which worried me. "Is my baby bear hungry?" I cooed and Y/n looked up at me. I walked to the kitchen to make her a bottle when she got fussy. "Ap, Ap!" Y/n squealed and I look at her. She was reaching down to her polar bear toy that fell out her arms. "Hyung can you grab that?" I asked and Jin picked up the bear and handed it to her. "Here you go my winter bear." I said handing her the bottle of baby formula. She drank the bottle as I walked to my room. I placed her bear on the pillow next to her and placed her on my bed and surrounded her with pillows so she doesn't fall. I opened the box with her crib inside and realized I have know idea how to do this. "Namjoon hyung! Can you come and help with something?" I asked and Namjoon walked into the room. "You still need to assemble the crib?" He asked and I awkwardly nod. He sighed and helped me.

~~Two hours later~~

Finally! We finished the crib which we just put in front of my bed. And I placed Y/n inside. She was hugging my pillow tight making sure no one took it while she slept. Jin called us for dinner and I leave my winter bear for a while. And that while was half an hour.

I walked in and saw that Y/n was still asleep but this time whining in her sleep. I picked her gently and placed her head on my shoulder. Than she stopped whining and slept peacefully. I let out a sigh of relief and placed her in her bed. Than yet again she starts whining and crying softly, I went to the bag filled with her new toys and pulled out the elephant plush. I placed it in the crib but it didn't calm her down. I placed all her toys inside but none of them were working. I quickly grabbed her polar bear I left on my bed. "Here babygirl, look who I found." I said placing the bear in the crib. She quickly grabbed the bear and fell asleep. I chuckled as I stroke my fingers through her hair. I looked at the clock and it was 10:30 p.m already! "I better get some sleep." I said rubbing my eyes. I went to change into some comfy clothes, brushed my teeth (with Jungkook banging on the door), and lied in bed and fell asleep knowing my new little girl was safe.
