Lexi's POV:
I cannot cook to save my life.
There's a few things I can make, like dessert style stuff, but normal dishes would be the death of me if I could die.
Thankfully, Amari is an amazing chef and he cooks with Greyson pretty consistently because they both enjoy cooking and work together really well. It also gives me time to talk with Elijah while they cook because he used to be my best friend before all of the soulmates showed up.
Now, we're not as close, but we're still friends.
Plus, I love Levi and we get along really well so I don't have any reason to be salty or bitter over my fellow sins and their lovers.
I love Amari more than anyone, so of course I understand the connection and craving for your soulmate.
"So... how's your sex life been?" I ask Elijah as he sits on the counter beside me, because Levi is busy working on some homework for his online courses that he's been taking.
Elijah laughs. "Still better than yours!" he exclaims, grinning. "I've got two hot guys to play with."
"Yeah, but my hot guy is the best," I retort, holding my arms out. "Amari, come here!"
"I'm making dinner, love," Amari responds, whisking something in a bowl. "And you don't me over there to prove to E that I'm the 'best hot guy.'"
I stick my tongue out at Elijah. "See? He's aware that he's the best!"
Elijah grumbles. "No he's not."
"Oh? So who is?" I ask, but before Elijah can respond, I talk again. "And you can only choose one!"
He glares at me. "Bitch."
"Awww, so we admit that my soulmate is the best?"
"No."
"Who's the best then?"
Elijah huffs. "Greyson, don't hate me, but I'm choosing Levi."
Greyson whips around and glares at Elijah. "What?!"
I love drama.
"Well... he's so cute, Greyson!"
"Am I not cute?" Greyson asks, pouting as he looks over at Elijah and I.
Elijah jumps off the counter and rushes over to his boyfriend, hugging him tightly and trying to get Greyson to stop chopping stuff up and give him some attention.
"You're adorable, honey," Elijah coos. "And Levi isn't the best, he's just my baby. You're also my baby, but you're my bigger baby."
Greyson is just giving him a hard time, I know that.
All three men in that trio are completely infatuated with each other and neither loves one more than the other. They are truly incredible, because I can barely tolerate others looking at Amari, let alone sharing him with someone.
That being said, Greyson is the sin of Greed, so I am not surprised that he has more than one lover.
"Don't turn them against each other, sugar," Amari scolds me, but he's smiling the whole time so I know he's not serious, just like he knows I'm not actually trying to piss my friends off. "Help me scoop this into the cupcake tins."
I grab a measuring cup and help out, getting scolded a couple of times for eating the batter, but I don't really care. My boyfriend makes the best desserts (both in and outside the bedroom) so he cannot really blame me for eating the batter.
