Two days in a row. Two damn days that boy with the sweet scent pissed Hyunjin. That damn addictive scent that he still could smell. Hyunjin groaned and slammed his locker shut, turning around.
"Good morning, Hyunjin." Jeongin greeted him with a shy smile.
Why was anger leaving Hyunjin every time he saw the boy?
"I am sorry for yesterday, so here." Jeongin continued, giving Hyunjin a pretty box.
He opened the box and saw a various backed goods who looked good. Making Hyunjin's mouth to water.
"Did you?" Hyunjin looked at the open box.
"Yeah, I made them yesterday. I hope you will like them." Jeongin said with pink on his cheeks, averting his gaze.
Hyunjin smiled at the shy boy. He closed the box and placed it in his locker, not wanting to share with his two friends. When he turned around, the boy was gone.
---
At lunch time Jeongin was heading for his table, since he gave his gift to Hyunjin this morning. There was only Felix, the others still not there.
"Why are you seating here? Go to Hyunjin's table." Felix shushed him.
"I gave him a gift this morning at his locker." Jeongin said.
"Ah, good. Please don't fuck things up. I really want Minho to lose." Felix groaned.
"Why didn't you make the bet with him. I am sure if I can court Hyunjin for a month you will be the one using my wish anyway." Jeongin said.
"Yeah. Imagine me courting an alpha. Marvelous, isn't it?" Felix told him rolling his eyes.
"Yeah. You wouldn't have a chance. But its hard when I know I don't like him, Felix. It feels wrong." Jeongin answered.
"You are afraid for Hyunjin getting feelings for you?" Felix asked.
"Don't be ridiculous. We know Hyunjin. He doesn't catch feelings. It feels wrong for me. I should court someone I like. I should court my mate, Felix." Jeongin said.
"Innie, I am sorry. Do you want to talk with Minho and stop all of this? I don't want you to feel bad." Felix was feeling bad for the boy.
"No, I will try for a few more days. I will see how I will feel about this. If the feeling doesn't go, I will just stop." Jeongin told him.
"Ok, but don't push yourself, please." Felix pleaded.
"I won't, I promise." Jeongin smiled at Felix.
Soon the others joined them.
Jeongin felt like someone was watching him. When he looked around to see he locked eyes with Chan. The alpha was looking at him with questions in his eyes. Jeongin smiled shyly at the alpha and averted his gaze. After a few minutes he looked at Chan again. He still was looking his way.
Chan asked Hyunjin something, pointing Jeongin's way. Hyunjin said something which made Chan a little disappointed.
What were they talking about?
---
Chan looked stunned at the boy. Why wasn't he coming? He was looking forwards for the boys backed goods so much and now the said boy was just siting on his table, not even glancing their way.
Studently the boy looked at Chan. A shy smile forming on his face, then the boy averted his gaze. What was wrong? He continued to look at the boy, until he looked again at Chan.
"Hyunjin, why is Jeongin not coming? Did you do something to him?" Chan asked him.
"I didn't do anything. He presented his gift to me this morning." Hyunjin told him.
"What?" Chan asked feeling disappointed.
"Probably wasn't happy that you get all my gifts, who knows." Hyunjin said.
Now Chan felt hurt.
---
Jeongin was heading home, when someone stopped him.
"Jeongin. Wait, please." Chan was running towards him.
Jeongin stopped, waiting for Chan to catch up.
"I- I am ... I am sorry." Chan said panting, placing his hands on his knees to catch his breath.
"For what?" Jeongin asked confused.
"For taking your gifts for Hyunjin. He usually doesn't take what people gave them, and the first gift really looked good. Then when you shared again the next day, I was so happy. I was looking forwards to what you will give us today and when Hyunjin said you already gave him your gift this morning I... I am sorry, I shouldn't have taking what wasn't mine." Chan was feeling bad now.
"Will you let me walk you home, please. I want to make it up to you somehow to being rude." Chan pleaded.
Jeongin started searching in his back. He gave Chan what was left from the baked goods.
"Here. I have a few left. Take it. I am so glad that you like them." The boy said with a big smile.
"Ah, really?" Chan smiled from ear to ear at that. He gladly takes what Jeongin gave him.
"You are really good at baking." Chan continued.
"Thank you. I plan on opening my own bakery one day." Jeongin said shyly, his ears turning red.
"Please, when you do, gave me the address. I will be your regular costumer, I swear." Chan said.
Jeongin's smile grew bigger.
"I will. I promise." The boy said.
