The clouds were dark outside. The trees were dancing as their dry leaves was falling on the ground. The people outside on the sidewalks started running – looking for a shed. Some of them open their umbrella’s up. But the sound each drop of water was getting louder. I sigh. It was raining heavily. I look outside through the window of the café. The sidewalk are empty. No one dare to walk under the heavy rain.

“Curse this day.” I mumble to myself.

I look at my watch and as I expected I’m already late. Immediately, I stand as I pack my things on the table and put it inside my messenger bag. Grabbing my coat and wear it then pay my bill on the counter. When I step outside, I immediately feel the rain drops dropping on my head especially on my head but I didn’t bother. The only thing was on my mind was to pass my papers on time even I’m already late on my class. While running in the middle of the sidewalk, I suddenly realize that I’m not getting wet anymore. I stop running and look at my right side. A face of a girl with a smile written on her face. She has this long brown hair and she’s wearing a thick glasses. I was about to speak but suddenly her smile vanish. And started to catch her own breathe.

“Are you okay?” I ask. She raise her left hand and form a big thumbs up. But that doesn’t make me feel relieve. I just stare at her the whole time thinking how I can help her. Swear, I’m not used at this kind of situation. When she’s feel better she raise her right hand then brush my wet hair. My eyes widen. Swear I didn’t expect that. I was clearly taken back on what she did.

A smile form on her lips again. “You’re running so fast. Thank God, I was able to catch you.”

I stare at her with a confusion written on my face, “Do I know you miss?”

She shake her head as she open her shoulder bag like she was getting something in it. My eyes widen when I see the thing that she’s holding on her hand.

My heart just stop beating. It was my necklace. How on earth she have my necklace?

“I think this is yours. I saw you sketching this before.” she said as she give me my necklace. I take the necklace but I can’t stop looking at her. Somehow, she reminded me of someone I can’t remember. Those smile… Those eyes… I think I’ve seen it before.

“Miss, can I know your name?” I swear, my heart was beating so fast that it was like l can’t breathe. I’m so nervous of what she’s going to say.

“It’s Mia Beckett.” She answer without any hesitation.

My heart just stop. It’s like everything has stop. And I can’t even manage to move. It’s like my body freeze. But the thing is, I can’t believe that I meet this girl again in front of me.

“Mia.” I said almost like a whisper.

“Huh?”

I shake my head. “Nothing. Nice to meet you Mia.” I smile then I extend my hand.

“I’m No-ah. Noah Stark.”  I said, almost stutter.

She stare at me for few seconds and there’s a hint of confusion on her face. I was so nervous but I also want her to remember me. But my world just collapse when she smile and said this words.

“It’s was a pleasure meeting you Noah. I’ll be on my way. Take care.” she said as she left me in the middle of the sidewalk under the heavy rain.

My hands were trembling as I raise it and take a look of the necklace. It has a star pendant. I gave it to her years ago because every time I look at her eyes I could see the stars in the universe. So beautiful just like her. But right now, she have forgotten me. All of those memories I keep inside my heart will just now remain an untold story. If I could only turn back time and I would rewrite those lines.
