“Seriously Harry, we can’t keep doing this,” I said as the seriously crazy – but still beautiful – boy in front of me tugged on my hand, making me run down the corridors of school. It was our senior year, and for some reason, Harry thought that meant it was okay to try and demolish the school and pull as many pranks as possible.
“Lou really, we aren’t even doing that much. All I wanna do is stink out the principal’s office, okay? Perfectly innocent,” I snorted at that.
“I hardly think that’s innocent-““Would you rather I smash Mr Woods’ car window again? Hm?” I let out an exasperated sigh.
“You win.” The curly haired boy gave me a smirk and chuckled.
“I always do.” He soon dragged me into the office and shut the door behind me. He emptied his pockets and pulled out at least three stink bombs. Crossing my arms, I sigh and decide to look around. There are awards, photos of the school and past students all over the walls.
“Reckon we’ll be up there one day?” Harry snorts as he begins placing the stink bombs around, setting up small triggers.
“I won’t be. You will though Lou, you got good grades.” I laugh a little at that.“They weren’t that great...pretty average really. You’re the one that did great in English, Science, AND Math. So why have you been trying your hardest all these years for teachers to hate you?” Harry lets out a soft sigh and straightens up; I envy how smooth his movements are. He’s like a diver. Perfect body movements, as if each flex of his muscles, each time he breathes in and out is carefully calculated. His green eyes roll over to me and a playful smirk spreads on his lips as he steps closer and pushes me against the principles desk.
“I thought you once told me you liked bad boys Lou?” He says in that low, husky tone that sends shivers down my spine. My cheeks go red as I’m very aware of his large hands that are sliding onto my waist.
“Well, I did say that when I was just sixteen, Harry. Two whole years ago. Why? Are you trying to keep me attracted to you? With all your hard core stink bombs?” We both laugh softly and he shakes his head; his green his sparkling a little as he looks at me.
“I’m just having a little fun Lou. Why? Scared we’ll get caught? If I remember correctly, my mother has already walked in on us when you were-“
“WE DON’T NEED TO TALK ABOUT THAT, Harry,” he lets out another hearty laugh and his lips pull up in a happy grin; one that makes crinkles form at the corners of his eyes and dimples on his cheeks.
He’s breathtaking. As always.
“Well, how about you just kiss me then?” He offers, quirking an eyebrow. I glance back at the office door. It was well past five ‘o’clock, so all staff should be home...I let out a sigh and roll my eyes, and he takes this as me letting my guard down, and suddenly he's leaning in, smoothly as ever and our lips press together. His are firm but soft as rose petals against mine; so much care behind the kiss. My arms soon lift up to wrap around his neck and I feel a soft vibration against my lips as he chuckles softly and pulls me tighter against him. "For someone that didn't seem too keen on coming in here, you sure are enthusiastic," He breathes when he manages to pull away from me. I sigh and roll my eyes, shaking my head. He always leaves me like this; always wanting more.
"Come back here," I mumbled softly, taking the curly haired lads cheeks in my hands and kiss him deeply. Harry - being Harry - of course just enjoys this all the more and his fingers press into my back to hold me nice and close; lifting me up and setting me on the edge of the desk. I was about to tilt my head into the kiss when we both hear the jingle of keys coming down the hallway, and we both turn towards the door and gasp.
"Who's that?!" I whisper in a panicked tone; however though I was scared, there was a look of excitement in Harry's eyes, a grin resting on his lips.
"Probably the janitor, Lou...let's run!"
"RUN?! Run where?!" I whispered urgently again and suddenly he's grabbing my hands and running to the other side of the room. The curly haired male ended up pushing us both out the window and we ran out to the car park, laughing loudly as we waited to hear the janitor complain about an awful smell.
That's how good things used to be. How easy everything was between me and Harry.
We were so completely different, but we had similarities, and we just...worked. It worked so well back then.
But people grow up...things happen...and things have just gotten harder.
