Mikasa Ackerman stared at the plate with the cake. It was a beautiful, white and pink cake with some letters on it, that said "Ily Eren" that she had baked herself. Unfortunately, that Eren had rejected her feelings, because he was alredy in love with another girl. Mikasa knew that, but for some reason, she still confessed to him.

It was a Saturday afternoon, they both had decided to meet on a park near their houses. Mikasa was sitting on a bench there, alone, with almost no reaction.

For some reason, she couldn't cry. She couldn't do anything but to stare at the cake. Sure, she was sad, but it was more of a weird feeling than actual sadness.

- Mikasa!!! Hey!! - Someone called, but the girl was too lost on her thoughts to actually listen to that person - Mikasa! Are you listening? - The person sat next to her, Mikasa finally noticed who they were.

It was Sasha Braus, a friend of her. Sasha was caring and funny, she could be kind of annoying sometimes but overall she was a great friend. Mikasa really liked her. For some reason, she felt like she could trust her no matter what.

- Uh, oh....Yeah..- She answered, almost whispering.

- So, did you confess to him alredy? - Because they were very close, Sasha knew about her friend's feelings for Eren. Deep down, she alredy knew he didn't like her back, but she never said anything about it, because she wanted to see Mikasa happy.

- I'd rather not talk about that...It's....You know....Alot to process...

-.....I know how you feel....

-......Do you....Want a slice of this cake? I'm not going to do anything with it anymore so....- Mikasa gave Sasha a smile. It wasn't a 100% fake smile, it was actually pretty genuine. The thought of her friend eating the cake that she baked was actually nice, even tho it was for her crush.

- Of course! I would never decline a slice of cake, especially from the world's best cook! - Those words made both of them giggle. Mikasa was actually feeling happier now, having the company of the other girl.

Mikasa cut a slice of the cake and put it on an extra plate. She had some extra plates and disposable cutlery in case Eren wanted to eat the cake with her.

- Here, hope you like it - She gave her the plate, with a fork. Sasha didn't hesitate and started eating it.

- Uhmmm...Mikasa! Yum..This is...Yummm......Delicious! You are truly world's best cooker, Eren doesn't know what he's missing - Sasha said between chews, Mikasa was happier again. She felt happy by seeing someone appreciating her food.

- Thank you Sasha. And, in fact, now I think Yeager is kinda dumb. I mean, he is literally in love with a taken lesbian¹ - She giggled a bit. That truth really hurted her but now it wasn't hurting that much. 'Maybe Sasha makes everything better' she thought.

- That stupid guy....He doesn't deserve you! - 'I deserve' She thought. Yeah, Sasha Braus was in love with her best friend, Mikasa Ackerman, who was probably straight and definitely in love with a guy who didn't care about her. What a nice position to be.

-Eh...Do you think so? Yesterday you said we were perfect for each other..

- Mikasa. You're super pretty, cute, gorgeous and amazing. Your hair is so pretty, I could stare into your eyes forever, you are gorgeous in every way. You are also extremely kind, strong and talented. You are what I would call a perfect person, you have no flaws. Now, do you really think that I think someone perfect like you deserves a stupid, boring and useless guy like Eren? No, you don't! You deserve someone better......Like....
