Chapter 18: The Stohess District Brawl

     (Y/N) waited for his squad for a few minutes which gave him time to think. He wondered why Annie attacked him. Did the others have something planned? If he had to fight the female, armored, beast and colossal titan he would die for sure.If they did have something he needed to figure it out quickly. He knew it would only be a matter of time before the scouts caught him. He needed to find the founder before the warriors. Even though Pieck says she's on his side. Her country is more important to her. Ymir only cares about Historia. Currently he needed to think only for himself. He heard the sound of horses coming up behind him. He saw his whole squad with Jean holding the reins to (Y/N)'s horse. (Y/N) quickly jumped on his horse and started to run to the direction that the female titan ran.

"Are you gonna tell us what happened in the forest?" Jean asked.

"Female titan has Eren, we're chasing her,"

"Why isn't Levi squad chasing her?" Pieck asked.

"They're dead,"

Everyone stayed quiet and continued to ride the direction (Y/N) ran. They ran for a few more minutes until they saw Mikasa and Levi flying above them. (Y/N) watched them fly by at an insane speed. He pat (H/N)'s neck and she ran the fastest she could. The rest of his team attempted to catch up but (Y/N)'s horse was too fast. Of course Mikasa and Levi were faster than the horse but he was still catching up. Eventually he lost sight of them and he continued to run in the same direction. As he ran he saw another figure appear from his right, the figure rushed at him with ODM gear and rammed into him. He lost balance and landed on the ground hitting his head. His vision blurred and he blacked out.

"(Y/N) wake up please," He heard Pieck, he opened his eyes slowly and blinked rapidly. "That's right, blink it away," She moved some hair out of his face and let him adjust to the light.

He felt weak and partially numb. He looked up and could make out the sky and clouds, he heard the iconic sound of a carriage wheels and horses hooves. He looked a little right and saw Pieck staring down at him. He could feel her grab his right hand and intertwine her fingers with his.

"What happened?" He asked, he realized his head was laid on her thighs.

"We don't know yet, your horse found us and led us to you. Do you remember anything?"

"Someone attacked me,"

"You don't know who I'm guessing,"

"No sadly,"

"What happened before we met up with you again?"

"Annie and Eren fought, She attacked me," He whispered to her.

"I don't know why, I want to figure out as soon as I can,"

"You should pretend to rest until we get to the walls,"

(Y/N) closed his eyes and sighed. He felt betrayed, but at the same time he felt like he betrayed the other warriors. He had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that something bad was going to happen soon. He put it aside and fell asleep.

A few hours later.

They led her through the city of Stohess, the air was tense as they stepped down into a tunnel. Annie stopped at the top and refused to go in.

"Why is there no one around here? I see your looks, that hurts me," Annie said vaguely.

"Annie," (Y/N) finally spoke. "We can't do this here,"

"I thought we were friends (Y/N), why are you doing this?"

"Don't try to bring sympathy into this," He stepped up onto another step getting closer.
