Chapter 15

Sorry

NATHAN.

Screaming in frustration, I threw my bag against the wall and watched as it fell to the floor with a thud.

"Nathan, mate, calm down-" Max said, poking his head into my room. I turned to him.

"This is all your fault," I said, grabbing him by his shirt and dragging him into my room. "If you hadn't dragged me up there, this whole thing never would've happened."

He smirked at me. "Jeez, calm down-"

"If something bad happens because of this I swear-"

He pushed himself off me, sending me toppling onto the bed.

"Why you-" I lunged at him, sending him lying on the floor, with me holding him by his shirt (again) and a fist prepared to go through his face.

"Go. Hit me. Let's see what Alex says about that. You're nothing but a huge, inconsiderate bastard, Nathan. Did you see how we all suffered because of your problem? We were there for you, you never opened up. We were your family. Did you ever think about how we felt? Huh? Don't blame me, Nathan. Blame yourself. You were lucky enough to have people who actually cared around you and you took all of them for granted! Plus, you acted without thinking!"

With tears brimming in my eyes, I brought my fist down to his face.

crack.

"Oh, god my nose-" Max lay on the floor, clutching his nose.

I might have punched him two or three times before he kicked me off.

He then gave me a look of loathing, got up, and before I even knew what was happening, I had doubled over from the blow he gave me to the stomach. He punched me in the face, then picked me up, pushed me up against the wall, his hand on my throat.

I tasted blood.

I almost kicked him in the groin when the other guys burst in and pulled us away from each other.

"STOP, okay?!" Siva said, standing between us. Tom held Max behind, while Jay was on my side. "What happened here?"

"Nathan was too chicken too accept the truth of what I said." Max replied, smirking at me. He looked terrible. Blood gushed out from his nose, soaking his shirt. A bruise was starting to form on his cheek.

I practically growled and tried to grab him again, but Jay restrained me. "Stop it, Nathan."

Siva sighed. "We'll all deal with this tomorrow. For now, you all get some sleep. We got a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

They all left my room, leaving me standing in the middle of it. My legs gave in. I sat down on the floor, staring at my hands. My hands that managed to hurt one of the only people who truly cared for me.

What have I done?

~

ALEX.

"Right," Daniel said, looking around the Pennsylvania airport. "Where to next? It's two in the morning, and I'm very cranky when I'm sleepy. Where's The Wanted?"

I slapped his arm when two girls looked at him incredulously, probably because of "The Wanted."

"Oh, Daniel," I said loudly, hoping to get them to stop looking. "You don't get to see them until much later, you're too excited!"

The two girls rolled their eyes and walked off. I breathed a sigh of relief then turned to him, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the taxi stand.
