A tear escaped down my cheek as I watch my dad walk off into the airport, to leave on his deployment. He promised my step mom would take care of me, but she hated me; and I hated her back. Her two bratty daughters didn't make it any enter. When we got to her mansion I went directly to my room and cried for hours.
He was supposed to be gone for 6 months. Halfway through, someone arrived at the house. I ran and opened the door, to see a man in a blue suit. He had a solemn look and immediately I knew what was wrong. I burst into tears and my step mom came rushing to the door, faking crying as she thanked the man.
Immediately they put me to work. Claiming I was an orphan now, the took me out of school and put in and online school, so I could clean the house full time. My childhood was ripped away from me and I was forced to clean as I watched my stepsisters play and have fun. I was only six. Only six.
