Hey loves it's been a while, I need to get back into the things that make me happy so here we are <3
get ready for some flirty oikawa in the next two chapters or so because we're almost at the Aoba Johsai practice match!!

Over the next several practices you had gotten more comfortable with the team and everyone on it

you had begun to form a good relationship with Yamaguchi, Sugawara and Tanaka (mostly since you were close to Kiyoko but also because he thought you were cool)

since you had started to get close to Yamaguchi Tsukishima began to take notice to the way you two hung out more and more, he saw the way that you two would jokingly hold hands from time to time because "your hands were cold"

To be frank he didn't like it. He didn't like that all of Yamaguchi's attention started going to you.. that you were giving your attention to him.

But he had other things to focus on. The team was more concerned about the practice match coming up. He honestly could care less about it, it didn't mean anything real for them anyways

But still.. he was just glad he'd finally get more time with Yamaguchi.

(This man is protective of all his close friends I don't take criticism)

After you had finished discussing positions for the practice game you all went back to your respective duties

As you were filling up water bottles Yamaguchi approached you

"Hi (L/N)! Need any help?"

You smiled up at him from where you were sitting

"Not at the moment but please, how many times must I ask you to call me by my first name?"

He shrugged and sat next to you "At least one more time. I just don't want to make you uncomfortable.."

You chuckled and tightened another lid "You know Yamaguchi, if I'm asking it must mean I'm okay with it"

He sat back and looked at the ceiling "I guess you're right.." he looked over to you before grabbing a bottle and putting a lid on it "But I'll only call you by your name if you call me Tadashi. Deal?"

You smiled over at him "Sure thing... Tadashi"

Immediately his face got a tiny bit pinker and his smile wider

"Perfect... (Y/N)"

From across the room Tsukishima watched with a slightly annoyed expression

What could you two even be talking about? And why do you keep subtly touching each other?

Like it's not hard to keep your hands off his arm

Tsukishima's thoughts were interrupted by Tanaka

"You good man? You look like you wanna kill somethin'... what are you even looking at?" Tanaka trailed his eyes to where you and Tadashi were sitting

He noticed the slight pink on his face and the bright smile on yours

How close you were sitting and everything

"Huh.. oh wait.. now wait a minute-" he looked back to Tsukishima who was practically snarling

"OH SNAP! YOURE JEALOUS?!"

Tsukishima snapped his head towards Tanaka

"Jealous? Of what?"

"(L/N) and Yamaguchi. I mean they're practically all over each other."

Tsukishima scoffed and crossed his arms "Hell. No. I could care less about their sappy shitty romance"

Tanaka laughed "I never said it was romance."

He watched as Tsukishima continued to angrily look at you two

He leaned closer to him to whisper in his ear

"You wish that was you huh?"

Tsukishima was quick to glare at Tanaka "Would you shut the hell up?!"

"HEY! That is NO way to talk to your upperclassman." Daichi butted in

Tsukishima hastily apologized and moved on to do something else

Eventually everyone got to go into the club room, Hinata was obviously pretty excited about it while the rest were just mediocre

Hinata came down the stairs, he was rather pale and looked like he was going to be sick

"Hinata? Are you alright? You don't look so good"

Hinata looked up from the ground "Y-YES MA'AM IM FINE I WONT MESS IT UP!"

You let out a shocked laugh "Woah there Hinata I just asked if you were okay! I'm sure you'll do absolutely amazing tomorrow, just calm down for a little alright? Take it easy you have no need to worry."

Hinata took a deep breath and rubbed the back of his head "Sorry, I just don't want to get replaced that's all! I really want to do my best out here"

You came closer to him and patted his shoulder "And I'm sure you will! You're an amazing jumper with raw talent, you'll find your groove don't worry"

"Thanks (L/N) I really appreciate it, I know tomorrow will be-"

"HINATA! ARE YOU WEARING MY UNIFORM PANTS YOU LITTLE DOOFUS?!"

Hinata looked down at his pants

"Huh?"

You watched as they slowly fell down his legs

You tried your best to hold in your laugh you really did, but you eventually lost it when you noticed Tanaka being yelled at by some girl and getting spooked

You practically fell over from how hard you were laughing

On your way home you told Tadashi about the whole ordeal

"And then- HAHA- Tanaka comes out and starts shouting "HiNaTa! ARE YOU WEARING MY UNIFORM PANTS YOU DOOFUS?" And then- HAHA THE PANTS STARTED FALLING OFF"

Tadashi laughed with you as you continued to tell the whole ordeal

Tsukishima let out a scoff and rolled his eyes "It's really not that funny. This is Hinata so it's not surprising either"

Your laughter quickly faded "Well excuse me for actually finding it funny. Even Tadashi finds it funny, right?"

He nodded as he chuckled a little more

"Tadashi? Since when have you two been on first name bases?" Tsukishima crossed his arms and stared down at you both

Tadashi shrugged "Ion know since like this morning I guess, I mean (Y/N) is really fun to be around so why wouldn't we get closer?"

Tsukishima rolled his eyes again and flipped up his headphones, walking ahead of you both. Completely shutting out the conversation

You looked to Tadashi and frowned

"I don't get it Tadashi.. I've been trying to be nicer to him but he just starts fights with me and refuses to even try.."

He furrowed his brows and puffed his lips

"Maybe you two just need to get to know each other more? I'll talk to him, okay?"

You nodded and gave him a quick side hug before parting off to head home

Hopefully tomorrow's match will be fun.
