The Crystal Cave (Chapter 10)

So last Amber and Ocean we're headed toward the crystal cave. But while beauty and crystals light up, danger is near, Albatross is near, but that is not all, the animus magic awoke a creature, a creature who has been asleep for thousands of years, The Kraken...

"We've been swimming for hours!" Amber complained for the 23 time. Ocean sighed, "Amber, it has only been 2 hours, chill out." Amber poked her with her tail, "Excuse me! Only 2 hours! You may like it, you are a seawing, born to swim, I am not a seawing thank you very much!" Ocean shook her head in exasperation and went underwater, it was a beautiful teal-blue color, how could Amber not feel the urge to dive underwater and flip around. The last time she pointed this out Amber asked her why she didn't want to soak in mud, and Ocean sort of understood what she was saying but, mud is not water! Ocean decided that if Amber couldn't see the delight of water, her loss.

Not so long after, Amber tugged at her horns. "Excuse me, my horns!" Ocean asked her pointedly. "Well I tried your tail and you didn't do anything, so..." she trailed off. Ocean looked at her tail, it was water, but it still was attached to her. Amber's was the same but mud. Ocean shook herself. "What is it, Amber?" Amber splashed her. "Look" she pointed. Ocean looked where she was pointing and saw a shimmer of blue-white-green. "The ray!" Ocean yelped. "Exactly" Amber smiled. "Let's get going" They soon saw the cave and swam as fast as they could despite their lack of energy after all the swimming.

They finally arrived and they stared at awe. The cave was beautiful! Ocean was mesmerized by the twinkling crystals. She looked and saw that Amber was also staring in wonder. "Alright let's focus on getting the object," Ocean told her. "Okay," Amber agreed. They wandered deep into the cave and they soon reached the center. And they saw a gold sphere with jewels decorating it. Amber reached out and took it carefully. "That was easy!" Amber said. " Too easy," Ocean said nervously. Amber shrugged but Ocean saw a glimpse of worry on her face.

Then, a sudden rumble happened that shook crystals into falling. Ocean barely dodged a amythest with a nasty point. Then, a large tentacle came out and almost slapped Amber. A kraken emerged!
