"These marshmallows are so good," I say, emphasizing 'so'.
"I bet I could make you feel even better," Connor says while wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Ew, why are you even here? Go back to chasing the girls outside or something." I take another marshmallow into my mouth and moan in pleasure. This hot chocolate, I must admit, is even better than the one I make at home. Especially because I'm finally feeling warmth again.
"And leave you all alone in here? I don't think so," he says, taking a sip of his beer. I will never understand how can he drink so much alcohol and not get drunk so fast. I bet he already consumed more alcohol today, than I did water. "Besides, you know you're the only girl I see."
I puff dramatically. "Yeah, right. If anything, I'm the only girl you don't see," I say. "Not that I would ever want that or anything," I quickly add and he laughs.
"You trying to deny your love for me is so cute," he flirts.
"You make me sick."
"Sick in love?" he asks and I gag.
"You are hopeless. I cannot understand how do girls actually fall for your awful flirting," I tell him and search the cafeteria for Anna. Did she get lost in the bathroom? Like seriously, if I have to listen to Connors tipsy ass one more minute I might actually puke.
"You fell for me so ask yourself." I roll my eyes at him.
"Can we for once talk like normal human beings? Alcohol does not do you good, my friend," I tell him.
"You seem a little upset today. I think you should drink some of my vodka that I brought with me," he informs. "It would make you feel more warm, than this hot chocolate ever will."
"No thanks, I'm fine. I don't want to make an accident while skiing." Especially not today, since the resort is crowded with people on spring break.
"Oh well, there's not much left of it anyways," he says while fixing his hair in the reflection of his phone. Instead of making it more neat, he makes his curls look messier.
"Rocking the messy look today, huh?" I smile at him acting worse than some girls, while blowing into my cup of hot chocolate.
"If you mean insanely hot, gorgeous and a little bit hangover look, then yes I am."
"Oh, here comes Anna," I say relieved. "Where the hell have you been?" I ask her.
"It's been 5 minutes since I left."
"Huh, I guess time goes slow when you're talking to this douchebag," I say referring to Connor.
"Oh, you love me," he says.
"Not even in your wildest dreams, boy," I assure him.
"You two are so adorable," Anna says while taking a sip of her untouched coffee. "My favorite OTP."
"Stop with that please, it's never going to happen, no matter how much you wish it would." Anna has created this image of me and Connor dating since we all started hanging out. Basically, since the start of high school. To say she's obsessed with the image of us together would be a huge understatement.
"Never say never," she sings to me.
"I'm sorry, Anna, but Rose is right. It's never going to happen. It's one sided love," Connor remarks. "No hard feelings, Rose.''
"You two are unbearable. I'm going to find Jesse and Eddy, they are a much better company," I say and text Eddy asking him where are they. I put my gloves on and stand up to leave.
"Think about me," Connor teases and winks at me.
"Maybe ten seconds before I die," I joke, "but probably not."
"Burn, dude," I hear a laughing voice say behind me. Even before I turn around I see a starstruck face Anna pulls off. "I think you dropped this," he says, offering me my wallet.
In front of me stands Kai Bailey, the vlogger himself.
