You wake up in your raggy bed, walking out to the main room only to find your dad drunk and passed out. You sigh and sit down on the couch, polishing your shotgun. Your dad woke up, then puked on the floor. You'd scowl, looking away.
"We need money... I'm sending you to work for Mother Miranda. Be careful, y/n." He'd slur, a few tears falling down his face.
Ever since what happened with the monsters- he'd become a drunk. He drank everyday, all day. Thank God he hadn't drawn the monsters here.
"W- what?" You'd stutter, eyes going slightly wide.
"Yeah- I'm sorry, y/n, we just need the money..."He'd respond, frowning.
"I know, dad, but you couldn't have me work somewhere else?" You'd ask, scared.
"There is nowhere else!" He'd snap, spitting.
You'd flinch, and his face faded into a frown.
"Y/n, I'm sor-"
"No. Just- don't." You'd sneer, eyes filled with tears.
You'd walk out of the raggedy house, carefully making your way to your new workplace. You'd spot the gates to the castle, sighing in relief, as you hadn't been attacked. You'd knock on the gates, hearing them unlock.
The gates opened, creaking loudly as the gears churned. The pathway leading to the castle was barren—having dead scenery and green stones as a path.
You walked forward, the pebbles crunching under your feet. You'd jump as you heard the gates slam behind you, the noise booming across the sky.
You'd sigh and continue forward, slowly making your way toward the Dimitrescu residence.
You made it to the doors and sighed, eyes glazed with fear. You'd knock on the large metal planks and cringed at the sound—''twas loud, too loud. The doors creaked open, and stood a man behind them. He was tall and slender with grey hair— you assumed he was older.
"You must be Ms. l/n. Come in, please." He'd bow, raising an arm and letting you in.
You walked in, your footsteps echoing through the large corridor. You'd inhale sharply, seeing a tall woman sitting in a chair. You knew who it was, though you hadn't seen her face yet since her chair was facing the opposite direction.
"Well well. Ms. l/n, is it~?" She's ask, standing up to look at you.
Your eyes went wide as you finally processed how large she was- she had to be at least 10 feet tall. You'd exhale, your muscles stiff as the lady walked closer.
"You smell delicious~" She'd almost purr, inhaling and taking in your scent.
You'd inhale sharply as she got closer to your neck. She'd smirk, waving you off.
The head butler handed you a list of duties, whispering something to you.
"Try not to make many mistakes—if you do, you'll be sent to the basement."
You'd tense at his words, eyes going wide.
"W-wha-" you'd stutter, but he interrupted you before you could finish.
"You should be off to do your job. The faster you get your duties done, the earlier you get to sleep." He'd state, walking away.
"Uhm... okay then." You murmur to yourself before looking at your list of chores.
"Wipe off tables? Easy enough." You'd shrug.
You'd enter the dining room and almost screamed—the table had been covered in blood. You exhale, processing what you were seeing.
You'd clean the table, sighing. Shaking your head, you turned around just to be met by a tall woman—also known as your boss. But—not in the way most meet their bosses. You had bumped right into her breasts.
"Well hello there~" She'd smirk, looking down at you.
