vanilla and her partner mangle were in the house being bored and watching  Netflix. it was a hot and muggy day so the pair didn't feel very motivated to do much of anything. the heat frizzing up vanillas hair as it did the same to mangles tail. after watching multiple reruns of the same show mangle got bored.
she huffed and said "ugh how many times are we going to watch the same stuff."  vanilla didn't answer but shrugged instead from the lack of energy.  "well I think we should do something else." "yeah, like what." vanilla replied, snappy and grumpy from the heat. mangle giggles and rubs vanillas ears. the position they're in being mangle sitting crisscross while vanilla lays eith her leg on the arms of the sofa and her head in mangles lap "let's go do something other than waste time here on this couch, plus I have a idea and I think you will like it."
vanilla looks up at the vixen and sat up, stretching. "alright fine what did you have in mind." "well we could go to the zoo." mangle rested her chin on vanillas thigh and smirked  knowing full well they would spend all their time there gawking over the arctic foxes and lynxes. vanilla joined mangle with smirking  and moved mangle off of her as she stood and fully stretched  out her back with mangle doing the same. "well before we go we should get dressed because we cant go out looking like this." she giggles and walks into the shared bedroom they had and gets some clothes out and she tosses some at vanilla but she doesn't  make any attempt  to catch them and just stares.
"oh stop being grumpy and go change."  without a word she walks into the bathroom  and mangle gets dressed in the bedroom.

after they got dressed they walked out the front door and mangle locked it and vanilla drove to the zoo.
after they got there she parked the car and chugged some water while mangle was fanning  herself  with her hand and they made there way inside of the zoo and walked over to see their favorite  animals. they went to see the foxes first since they are closer and mangle bent down with sparkling  eyes as she looked at the little white ball of fur staring  back at her she wagged her tail violently and she was talking  all about how cute it was and then stood up and waved goodbye  to the little cutie as they made there way to the lynxes. once they got there they stood in front of the cage and vanilla looked up at the big cat. she wouldn't admit it still being grumpy of the heat but she smirked and lightly swayed  her tail in the hot heat. she snuck a finger in the cage to give it a boop as they finished expressing  there love to the animals and made there way back home. "so do you feel better now?" her partner replied groggily "yeah.."
they both took showers to rid the sweat from their fur and turned on all the acs and went right back on Netflix and soon fell asleep on the sofa.
