(Charlotte's POV)
The teacher was droning on in the background but I wasn't listening, I was to exited to learn because today, today was the day that I got my second life back. Me and my best friend Avery had waited in line for hours and hours to get a copy of Sword Art Online and I couldn't wait. I was startled back to reality as all of my classmates got up and handed in papers, I got up to hand mine in and was embarrassed to realize it was just a bunch of doodles of SAO things like my character and Ancraid. I sheepishly handed in the paper and sat down just as the bell rang. I stood up and collected my item... Things, jeez I'm already talking like I'm in game again. I guess in a way, I never really left.

I was home and I rushed to my room opposite of Avery's and plugged into the Nervegear, I logged in as my character, Veloxmor, which roughly translates to "quick death". And then I said those two words... The words that I would regret for the rest of my days. "Link START!"
