Of Course He Chose the Flower over the Weed...

Wakatoshi-kun... I've always been by your side... whether it was walking to school... practicing volleyball... or even just in the cafeteria line.. But, of course.. You still chose him over a monster like me...

"Ehhhhh-?"
 Wakatoshi-kun wasn't making any sense.
"I told you Tendou-san, I am unable to walk to your home with you."
Wakatoshi-kun obviously was saying that... but why?
"But- but- but- what am I gonna dooooo" I said trying to convince him to stay.
"It is not that big of a deal, I am going to try to ask Oikawa-san to go get some coffee with me."
Of course.. Oikawa-san.. Why was Wakatoshi-kun so obsessed with him.. maybe because he's.. special..? What does that make me..?
"Tendou-san are you alright?" Wakatoshi-kun asked me.
"Ah! Gomen Wakatoshi-kun! I was just thinking of a scenario of if a kidnapper were to get me since your not walking me to my house." I said trying to convince him to not go.
Wait... why was I trying to convince him to not go..? was it.. jealously? Fear of losing the person I care about?.. there's a great possibility it is those things...
"I will see you tomorrow, Tendou-san." He said while picking up his bag.
Well I failed.. "Bye bye Wakatoshi-kun~!" I say trying to put a smile on my face, it faded right as he was out of sight.
 I looked at my shoes and said under my breath "What makes Oikawa-san so special.."
"Ushijima-san just likes the amount of potential Oikawa-san has to join our team, or so I assume." Semi-Semi said.
"Ah! Semi-Semi, I didn't know you were here!" I say.
"Well I just left class and this is the school hallway, also stop calling me 'Semi-Semi' it's weird," He said while leaning against the wall next to the window. "Also.."  He continued.
"Ushijima-san cares for you a lot you know,"
 Why would he say that when we both know that he cares for Oikawa-san more..
"Ehhhh-!? Where is that coming from?" I say rubbing my hand of the back of my head while trying to put on the best "Tendou" smile I had.
 "Well, we both know that you care a lot of Ushijima-san.. maybe you feel like you want to be more than "best-friends" with him..?"
 Semi was right... I did... I loved Wakatoshi-kun... a lot in fact. But, he didn't seem to feel the same way..
 "By that look on your face I'm guessing you do..?" He said while focusing his gaze to me.
 "Yes, yes I do.. but," I say in a calm tone while looking out the window. "He probably likes Oikawa-san.." I say while staring at the cherry blossom's outside the window.
 I notice a boy and a girl sitting on a bench under one of the trees, they seemed to be sharing some treats together.. I also noticed the big beautiful bouquet of red roses sitting next to the girl..
"How beautiful..." I say under my breath.
Semi let out a sigh and said "If you need anything, you can come to me and tell me all about it. Don't beat yourself down over this crush of yours, Okay?"
 I look at Semi and then said "Okay, thanks Semi-Semi!" I say with a tiny smile.
"Stop calling me that!" He said while walking down the hallway. 
I walked the other direction in silence..
"Don't beat yourself down over this crush of yours" was going through my head like a song that you can't seem to get out of your head.
"That's gonna be kinda difficult, Wakatoshi-kun.."


  The Next Day

I walked out of my front door and noticed Wakatoshi-kun standing at the front of my house
 "Mornin' Wakatoshi-kun! I say putting on the best smile I could.
"Good morning Tendou-san." He said in his usual tone.
"So~, how was your lil hang out with Oikawa-san?" I say trying to sound interested.
"Oikawa-san wasn't interested in having to get coffee with me. He said He considers me as one of his biggest enemies, and then he walked away with Iwaizumi-san." 
That lifted some weight off of my shoulders, until he said this.
"Oikawa-san has a lot of potential, but he's wasting it at Aoba-Johsai," He started
"We would've beat that Karasuno duo if only we had him on our team."
Wait... was he saying all of the hard work I put in wasn't.. enough..? sounded like it..
"Damn.." I started, looking up at the glorious sky.
"Something the matter?" Wakatoshi-kun said in a concerned tone.
"Nah, everything's alright!" I say with a smile, of course.. it was fake.


At Practice

"That set was fine but it could've been better" Wakatoshi-kun said to Semi-Semi.
Of course he meant it could be better like Oikawa-sans
"Sorry Ushijima-kun." Semi replied
Semi set his gaze on me for just a second and then instantly looked away. Of course he was pitying me, but I didn't need it...
"Ahhh, Wakatoshi-kun, Wakatoshi-kun." I started. Everyone started to look at me, I just stood there with my hands on my hips.
He just looked at me so I continued.
"Isn't it obvious... your comparing Semi-Semi to good ol' Oikawa-san!"
Everyone looked at me with shock on their face.
"Well like I told you before-" He started before I cut him off.
"Oikawa has so much potential! Yes yes I know!" I said in a loud tone.
"If only Oikawa-san was on our team! You said." I said repeating the words Wakatoshi-kun said this morning. He just has the same expression on his face.
"For fucks sake... if you like Oikawa-san so much!" I started.
"THEN WHY DON'T YOU MARRY HIM!" I said practically screaming, what I didn't notice is that tears started coming out of my eyes like tiny waterfalls.
He didn't say anything, just the same stupid facial expression that he always has. God at least pity me a bit why don't you.. 
"God... and I ACTUALLY had a stupid crush on you.. but of course," I paused for a second to look up to Ushijima-san. He had a tiny bit of shock on his face, I didn't care though... "You chose the beautiful big flower in one of the prettiest gardens!.. over a stupid, tiny, weed.." I said.



He still didn't say anything though.. just a bit of shock on his face but still.. he didn't show a single sign of care on his face..




"Goodbye.... Ushijima-san.."












Authors note- oh my god this sucks but whatever- i was just bored. but if you made it to the end congrats! you didn't throw up over my trash writing!  But this ended up having 1093 words including the authors note so yeah- i'll be going now so cya later.
