"I'm hungry" Adrian said breaking me out my thought while I was looking out of the window of the projects . Adrian is my little brother who is 9 years old , and I also have a sister who is 11 and her name is Adrianna . I went to go look in the fridge remembering from last night that we didn't have anything but some eggs, crackers , butter, and juice . When Adrian seen my face he knew there was nothing to eat " I'm fine Riah I wasn't really that hungry anyway" I knew he only said that to make me feel better . It was going on 11:00 a.m and I had to be at work 4:00 , so I knew I had to figure something out by then . I put on my coat and shoes , brushed my hair in to a messy bun , I went to tell Adrianna and Adrian that I was going to make a quick run to the corner store .

As I was walking out of my building , there was nothing but drug dealers and crack heads out . " What up Riah ?" Cortez said, he was one of Mario servers . He was always nice to me , and was my oldest brother Bestfriend , before my brother got killed . "Nothing on my way to the store to get something to cook for dinner tonight" "Well be safe and let me know if you need anything " I shook my head and kept walking , halfway down the block , I ran into Trisha and Damiqua , they was the biggest hoes around , they fucked all the drug dealers and trapped them , for some reason they just couldn't get enough of them though . " Look at this bitch thinking she all that like her pussy don't stank . First off my pussy don't stank and I don't go around fucking every nigga on the block that got money . " Bitch fuck you , you got to make it somehow" Trisha yelled all in my face . " I dont have time for yall bullshit today" I walked off in the store and and walked the aisle to see what to cook for dinner tonight. I only had 20 dollars so i had to make it work until wednesday when i get paid , so i decided to buy some bacon, a loaf of bread, a pack of chicken, porkchops, Bag of rice, a bag of potatoes, and some neck bones. I went to the check out line , it was my turn next and so i loaded the food on the scanner , my total came out to be $23.45, i only had 20 dollars. " Mam your holding up the line either you pay or leave" this was the most embarrasing shit ever, " i got it" i heard voice from behind me say , i turned it was Tremaine the biggest drug lord around, every female wanted a piece of him. " No its fine ill just put something back. " Dont worry about it , i have the money why not help a gorgeous young lady like you"? i couldnt do nothing but blush and say "Thank you". I walked out the store holding my bags when tremaine camed and grabbed my arm, " I never got your name" " My'Riah".... " Nice to meet you My'Riah , would you like a lift? " Im not one of these Hoes you be fucking , just because you paid for my grocceries doesnt mean im going to fuck you' I yelled walking off.

               Walking into my run down apartment that consisted of a raggedy couch , a tv and a little table that sat in front of the couch,  some old pictures that hung on the now palish walls, I Noticed my mother was still not back she does this shit all the time , she sometimes goes week without coming home , so it wasnt nothing that wasnt usual. I walked into the small kitches to put the grocceries up and start on breakfast, i decided to make bacon and eggs sandwich, and decided to make porkchops and rice for dinner. " Come eat Adrian and Adrianna" I yelled through the house. They came running in the kitchen as i handed them their plates and a cup of juice. "Thanks they both said. "It was delicious". 

                It was now 5:00 and i had an hour to get ready for work , i worked at McDonalds , i been working there for a year now , it wasnt the best but i had to provide for my family some how. Before i left i told Adrianna and Adrian , to not open the door for anyone because mama got her key and to heat up the food at 7, then take their care of they hygienes and get ready for school tomorrow. " Be in bed by 9:30 , and i'll be home by 12:30" i said leaving out of the door. I started on my walk to my bus stop, remembering i had money since Trey paid for my grocceries. " My'Riah " I knew the voice from anywhere it was Trey. He rolled down his window more " Where you headed to baby?" " Im not having sex with you Trey" "Look it here baby girl , i dont beg no female to have sex with me you know how many bitches would love to fuck me? , im not looking to fuck you , that shit dont excite me nomore." I didnt know what to say , if he didnt want to fuck me then what do he want from me i thought to myself..  He got out of his truck and handed me a piece of paper with his number on it. " Give me a call sometimes baby , for anything" Then he got in his truck and sped off , i stood there looking dumbfounded.
