Icy Volcanoes (Natsu x Reader x Gray)

Chapter 1 - A New Guild Home

"God, I'm so hungry..." I cry out. I hung my bag over my shoulder and began walking the dark streets of the place named Magnolia. Suddenly some wanna-be thugs pop out of nowhere and begin harassing me. "Hey babe, wanna hang with us?" I glare at them and yell, "Beat it you bums!" On one of the men their eye twitches and they push me into an ally. "Great" I think to myself. "I'll have to spend the rest of my low energy on these idiots," One of the thugs tries to get closer to me and when I was about to actually do something two MORE idiots pop off the roofs! One has spikey pink hair, and is NOT WEARING A SHIRT BUT ONLY A VEST!? And the other one has spikey black hair AND NO SHIRT!?!?

"Step back Miss, we got this," The black haired one suggests, trying to be cool. "Oi Popsicle pervert, since when did you call people Miss?" The pink haired one joked. "Shut it flame breath," the black haired one snarled. I looked at them, unamused. "Who the hell are you trying to tell to back up?" I walk by them, both of their jaws dropped. "Yo LADY! Those are MAGES and you are a GIRL-" I cut the black haired one off after he saw me round kick one of the men in the jaw. "You little BIT-" I punched the one yelling at me in the gut. "So which one of you creepy bastards wants to feel more of my wrath?" I  growled, pissed off and hungry. The perverts bolted out of the alley and I turned to look at the non-heroes. "If you really wanna save me, get me a bite to eat," I sighed. The two men looked at each other and shrugged.

They took me to a place to eat. It wasn't too fancy but I wasn't complaining any. I began feasting, showing no signs of girly-ness... or humanity. "I'm Natsu!" They pink haired one said grinning goofily. "And I'm Gray," The black haired one said while I continued eating. I took a break from eating shortly to respond. "I'm ______. Thanks for the food, you really saved me!" I finished eating and patted my full belly. "Say, ______ you did pretty good for a girl!" Natsu praised me. I glared at him. "It had nothing to do with my gender, pea-for-brains. I just trained myself well." Gray smirked at my insulting Natsu. "So, aren't you surprised that you won a fight against creepy mages?" Gray asked. I looked at him.

"Why should I be? I'm a mage too." I said calmly using a toothpick to rid my teeth of access food. "W-What?!" the two boys said in unison. I looked up at them, both of their jaws were dropped and their eyes wide. "W-What!? What guild do you belong to? We're from Fairy Tail." Natsu stammered. "I'm not in a guild," I replied. "And why the hell not? You're fighting skills kick ass and I can't even imagine your magic powers," Gray praised me. "I dunno, just never really cared for it, never been offered really," I said coolly. "Well would you like to join ours?" Natsu blurted out. I looked at him, a bit surprised.

"You don't even know what magi I use Natsu." I quietly said. "I'm sure it's amazing!" Natsu grinned. I blinked in surprise. "You would let someone in because they can fight?" I asked. "Well if you don't like the idea, give us an example of your magic." Gray said impatiently. I looked at him, a bit reluctant. I stood from the table and motioned with my hand a simple motion, Follow.

I took the two mages to an open field. "So, what do you wanna see. Defense? Offense? Random? What?" I questioned. "Defense" Gray said quickly. "Random" Natsu said goofily. I sighed. "Alright, first defense." I stood still, in front of a big oak tree. I looked up slowly and held my hands to my heart. I opened my mouth, ever so slightly, and notes came out. Beautiful tunes slipped from my tongue, causing the tree to wilt and revert back into a seedling. I turned slightly to look at the boys who were stunned. "Now, Random, fun magic," I smiled. 

I raised my hands into the air, feeling the wind. I spun once, and my hair was decorated with flowers, my old casual clothes into a white dress filled with flowers. I began to hum a tune I thought sounded nice and formed a song in my head. When I was ready I stopped spinning and looked at the moon, singing a melody.
