Safe Word

Seven year old Lin and thirteen year old Kya were playing hide n seek while their parents and Zuko were talking. Lin decided to run off into a nearby woods while the young water bender counted with her back turned. The earth bending girl launched herself into a tree deep in the woods.

Kya started freaking out as it had been hours and she still couldn't find Lin. She ran inside where the parents were setting the table for dinner. "Um.. Have you guys seen Lin anywhere?"

Aang: "I'm afraid not. You lost at hide n seek didn't you?" The rest of the adults chuckled then quieted down when she didn't answer. "You really can't find her?"

Kya: "I think I really lost her dad." She was on the verge of tears as she looked down. Toph tried using her seismic senses to find her daughter to no avail.

Toph: "Well how fucking far did she go?"

Meanwhile, Lin got bored and went deeper into the woods until she found a clearing and a cave. She decided to go into the cave where she froze. There was a huge green dragon sleeping and she heard you should never wake one. Too late. The dragon sensed another presence and opened it's green eyes.

Lin: "Uh... Hi?"

Everyone had set out to find the missing Beifong. Zuko went and got Druk from the stables to search in the sky with Aang and Appa. As they were searching, they came across many many trees then a clearing with a cave. Then a scream.

Zuko: "Druk! Down there!" The dragon dived down and landed. Zuko slid off and ran inside to see his niece huddled in a corner away from the green dragon. "Shit." The rest of the Gaang joined them. "Druk!" The Firelord's dragon managed to fight off the other dragon while Zuko grabbed Lin and ran.

Katara grabbed Lin from her friend and checked for any injuries. "Lin you can't run off like that!" The avatar's wife scolded.

Lin: "I'm sorry..." Toph was standing behind Katara waiting to talk to her own kid.

Toph: "I declare Lin the official hide n seek winner!!" Aang smacked his forehead.

Druk finally came out of the cave and looked for the tiny Beifong who was still in Katara's arms. When he finally found her, he nudged her softly as if he was hugging her. The dragon let out a little huff.

Lin: "I'm fine Druk calm down." She climbed onto his back and hugged him.

Lin: "That's why that's our safe word."

Korra: "Best truth or dare game ever."

Su: "That's why Druk always liked you better." Lin smirked at that.

Lin: "Speaking of Druk, here he comes." Right on time, the dragon appeared from behind Lin and everyone gaped as she pet his head with a soft look in her eyes.

Kya: "I also never wanted to play hide n seek ever again because of that." Everyone laughed.
