((Maggie's POV))
It was the summer before 8th grade when it happened.
He had braces, they got removed, he got contacts and started working out to play football that year, the same year I lost him.
We were best friends, I always had a crush on him, as the years went by we parted ways, in 8th grade boys and girls couldn't have sleepovers together, or they were whoring around together, I never had Tyler like that, I wanted him but I never did.
Ashton Rogers had him, ever since first grade, I was gunna ask him. She tripped me and kissed his cheek, she took him and I sat there looking stupid and on my face, soon I needed glasses.
On the weekends Tyler stopped coming over, nights got longer, soon leaves started falling, school started 8th grade year and I only had Roxie, Tyler's twin sister, Tyler had a whole group now, starting with him and his Girlfriend since 1st grade Ashton.
I took band as my elective, Tyler took Debate, we separated besides our honor classes, he was a super smart kid, no one knew, they still don't.
I don't know what made him change but it wasn't for the better, Tyler Rockwell I knew was now dead.
