Cold blood dripping down her fingers. Tears falling down her face. Staring at the man lying beneath her, on the ground. Panting and sobbing. 'Why?' ,he asked quietly, as he was slowly drifting to sleep ,a dream he would never wake up from again. 'An eye for an eye.' ,she whispered, trying to calm herself down.
As he took his last breath, she took her knife out of his dying body. She thought back on how she killed him, stabbing him 13 times, using his body to lead her anger away from the real cause. Sighing, she made sure there was no evidence that could trace back to her.Getting out of the closed cafe's kitchen, walking back to her apartment a few blocks away. Thinking of her sins, she shivered as the cold night was doing her no favors. What was the reason for her anger? What was the cause? Why did this young guy in his twenties have to die, because of her emotions? All very good questions. Questions that only this young woman could answer.
While being drowned by her own excruciating thoughts, she bumped into a wall. 'How clumsy.' ,she mumbled to herself. Looking up she saw that it was not a wall, she had bumped into. No, it was a man with a rock hard chest. 'I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going.' ,she said quietly, looking at the ground in embarrassment. But after she didn't get an answer she decided to look up. This man was gorgeous. Raven locks covering his face, as the moonlight made him look magical. His toned, tattooed arms were folder across his body. He was just staring at her, almost like he was mesmerized at the sight. She coughs, breaking his stare. 'Excuse me for staring, watch out where you're going next time though. You could have bumped into a dangerous thug. And we wouldn't want anyone messing up that pretty face of yours, now do we?' He said, smirking. 'Ah, yes. You're right. I'm sorry, but I have to go now.' She said, looking at the church clock that went off. 'Ofcourse, no lady should be out at this time. 3 AM already, wow, time really flies. Goodbye, I hope to see you again some day!' ,he calls, while walking away from her.
Arriving at her small apartment, she immediately went into her bathroom. Although she had already rinsed off all the blood, she still felt disgusting. She walked over to the mirror. She could see her face. Her long auburn hair falling down her shoulders, with her curtain bangs framing her face perfectly. She looked at the green eyes staring back at her. Running a finger over her pale skin, she started sobbing. Backing away from the mirror, but stopping when she felt her back hit the bathroom door. Sliding down, crying into her hands, she can't help but to feel sad. No, not sad. Mad, angry, enraged, impassioned. She started thinking, where did it go wrong?
She has always been a good girl, the girl next door. With the perfect little life and the perfect parents. She was an only child and looking back she really did have that perfect life. At school she was a popular cheerleader with straight A's and at home she had two loving parents. She worked hard and decides she wanted to study medicine, to become a surgeon. In college she met this guy, a guy who took her heart and never returned it. When she turned 25 she had been with him for 3 years and loved him with everything that she had.
A few months later, she had just graduated from school and had just started working in a hospital just outside her city. One night she and her boyfriend went on a date. Watching the stars on a blanket, while snacking on their favorite snacks. Lying down on the blanket, pointing out the different constellations in the dark sky. He turned his head to look at her and moved some hairs from her face. "You look beautiful tonight, you know that?", he said whispering in her ear. She turned her head towards him, blushing and said: "You look gorgeous yourself, do you know that?" emphasizing the 'that'. He chuckled and got up. "Where are you going? Why are getting up?" She asked, getting up too. He took her hand and guided her off the blanket on on the grass under them. He stood in front of her, taking both of her small hands in his big ones. Now just staring into her eyes, her gorgeous emerald green eyes that seemed to shine in the moonlight. "What is it, NAME? What are you doing?" She asked him quietly. He got down on one knee and said: "NAME, I really didn't prepare for this to happen. But right here, right now, with you. It just feels right, these past 3 years have been the best years jn my entire life. Because of you. That's why I am asking you, NAME SURNAME, to make my the luckiest man in the world and be my wife." "Oh my God, I can't breathe. I-", she said tears in her eyes. "NAME LAST NAME, will you do me the honor of changing your last name. Will you marry me?" She gasped, she don't expect this at all. To be honest she never really had thought about getting married and starting a family, but it felt right. "Yes!", she shouted out. After he got up, he picked her up and twirled her around, kissing her passionately. "I'm so excited! This was so unexpected. I need to get you a ring and flowers and chocolates.", NAME said, going on and on. "You don't need to get me anything, I'm truly happy just like this." She said, trying to reassure him. "No! Come on my lovely fiance let's get you home, and then quickly go to the grocery stores it's open 24 hours a day. Okay, we'll do that!", he said, while packing the blanket and the snacks in the car messily. NAME just giggled at his chaotic behavior. She was happy, she had the perfect life, the perfect job, the perfect parents, and now the perfect fiance. Life couldn't get any better. But it could get worse, and it did.
Something shook her out of her thoughts, idk what yet.
