"So, you're saying she cursed your heart?" he asks, and while looking at the entirety of the golden flower that falls in his petrified hand.
"Hmm. I think so, it was after I looked at her eyes." She hums in approval while holding her parasol.
"Don't you think it's a sign?" He looks at her, and his lips arches mischievously.
"Sign of what?" she asks calmly, while her Lolita dress is dancing with the wind.
"That we're meant to be, a fate that's bounded by her curse," he answers teasingly.
"Hmm. Okay." That's a monotonous response under the summer skies.
"Of course!" he warmly assures. "But could you keep up?" he questioningly says.
"Keep up from what?" she asks.
"From not crying," he says, and adds, "While letting me love you until the day we find out what awaits us."
"I'll see to it, will you make me then?" she asked.
"I'll make you cry again, ibabalik ko ang emosyon mo, until we see our fates."
It makes her look at him. Their eyes meet in an imaginary line, as the wind blows and makes more petals of the golden blooms rain down.
"Our fates of being accursed, for being..." he continues and stops, then steps towards her and gives her the flower, "Victims of Medusa."
