Time skip
"Luna, I was not expecting that. You five are the only ones who can be a Gamma at the moment" I declare, gesturing to the boy and four others "Either me or Beta Sapphire will train you and believe me when I say the improvement you five will see will blow your mind. Be prepared for intensive training. The rest of you will be warriors for now." I tell them as I stand in front of them mirroring the boys' stance from earlier.
"Yes Alpha" they murmur back, downhearted at my feedback.
"Don't feel down. This is not your fault. This pack was once the strongest in Europe then Carlson killed my father and took over. He turned the pack weak so that he could control you, well no more. I'm home and I will raise this pack to its former glory and more. I don't need you weaker than me, I don't need to control you, that's not how an Alpha behaves. You will follow me and do as I ask out of respect that I have earned not out of fear. We will be strong again so don't look to the past, look to the future" I call out, pride and passion in my voice.
Cheers, whoops, whistles and claps sound out from the crowd before me, all excited by my speech. I give them a minute to calm down, grinning at them.
"Training for the Gammas will be from 6:00 to 9:00 for the time being, just so we have more time to get you improved. Then you will take a break before training the warriors. You may do extra on your own if you wish but I doubt you will want to. We will start tomorrow so I suggest you take today easy and get rested up, you're going to need it" I inform them.
They disperse with a respective nod and I stretch a little to relieve my limbs, having to hold back so much hurts after a while. Out the corner of my eye I can see Sapphire jogging towards me, I noticed her presence a few minutes ago when she appeared on the side of the field, watching us. As she reaches me a mischievous expression appears on her face and she sends a playful punch to my shoulder.
"Oh, you wanna go do you?" I taunt, a playful tint to my tone and a grin on my lips.
"Yes, yes I do" Sapphire replies boldly and I let out a snarl.
The warriors pause to look back at us and I grin wider, well this could be quite the demonstration. Me and Sapphire circle each other as they spread out for a good view.
Sapphire has gained a lot more patience in the last month but I'm still more patient, well usually but today I decide not to wait for her to make a move. I fake a punch to her shoulder but Sapphire doesn't fall for it, instead her hand darts out and grabs my wrist, pulling me towards her to try and throw me off balance but I spin on my heel, dancing around her and sending a punch to her spine. A snarl rips from her mouth as she stumbles forward away from me and quickly turns to block me from striking her knee.
I leap back before returning to stalking her, she mirrors me as she tries to look for weaknesses but she knows I have barely any, especially in an expected battle. She skips forward to fake a blow to my stomach but then changes to an uppercut, I dodge her easily and in her momentary confusion I swing around her and wrap my arm around her neck in a headlock, she retaliates with a full jab of her elbow into my ribs. I instinctively loosen my grip and she slides out of my grasp.
We return to circling each other, waiting for one of us to make a move and a tense minute later Sapphire does. She leaps into the air and tries to land a kick to my face but I duck at the last second, she just catches the edge of my shoulder making me hiss, I grab her ankle as she passes and throw her roughly to the ground, I can feel myself getting carried away.
The spar quickly changes into a full on fight as we get carried away, well really I do. Snarls and growls rumble through each of us as our wolves push closer, I allow Crimson to come forward with me and Sapphire does the same, more in tune with her wolf than she was when we met. I don't even realise that I've stopped holding back and am now going full out, Sapphire quickly changes from offensive to defensive, simply knowing that she can't hope to attack me in this state without serious repercussions, I'm too strong and skilled for her.
