——CROSS POV——
I walked down a long and dark hallway, as today I would be assigned a top secret mission. Although I wasn't Nightmare's right-hand man, he wanted to give me this as Killer, his actual right-hand man, was busy. Chara and I weren't too sure about this, but I think Chara was more exited than nervous.
Eventually I got to a large room, with massive black pillars, walls and a black marble floor. There was a large staircase where a menacing throne sat upon, sitting in the throne was none other than Nightmare. He looked down upon me judgementally while I knelt down on one knee. He spoke in his dark, monotone voice. "I see you are here...are you ready for your mission?" "Yes sir" "good, now...your mission. It is top secret, so you must swear to tell no one about this, not even your closest friends and family." "I Cross sans, swear to tell no one of this." "Perfect, now ensure you have everything for your mission before leaving." "I do, sir" "your mission is to find Dream Joku and befriend him, you will gain information and report back to me, understand?" "Yes sir" "now best be off before I give someone else to do this job"
I stood back up and turned to the portal Nightmare had summoned beside me. I bowed my head before stepping through, Chara following close behind me.
The portal closed behind me and I was in a broken but not destroyed AU. Everything was burned down and broken, it seemed to be what was left of a village. At the centre was a large field with a small hill in which a tree sat upon. However, the tree wasn't fully grown, it looked like it had been replanted a couple of years ago. I walked towards the tree, in front of it was some sort of blank folded neatly. Chara looked at me before saying.>"so what do we do now?"< "to be honest, no idea. I guess all we can do is wait. Plus boss said prior to this that all we would have to do is wait." >"okay then....can I climb the tree!"< "do whatever just as long as you don't get hurt" >"anddddd"< "and what?" >"well what are you going to do?"< "I dunno, probably catch up on some sleep, I'm sure I won't be out for that long" I leaned against the tree and slowly began to drift off to sleep.
