Chapter Nine

Jessica's POV

"What?" my mom asked.

"Jessie's got a boyfriend. Jessie's got a boyfriend. Jessie's got a boyfriend"  my sister chanted

I took a deep breath and spoke "Jeremy Shada asked me out. I guess we technically went on a date because we went to see a movie and eat ice cream. But yeah, I said yes"

"Well, we would like to meet him" her boyfriend told me. I looked down at my food and rolled my eyes. Since when did he get a say in me being allowed to date or not?? He's not my dad... Dad. Crap my dad! I don't really see my dad very often and I had just realized that if I had a boyfriend that would probably mean I should tell him, right? I mean he is my father. My mom glared at me and asked "Well? Can we meet him?". After playing with my food for a little while I looked up and nodded. 

"I'm just gonna run up to my room really quickly" I half-yelled.

I basically crawled up the stairs and burst into my room. "Jeremy, hot fast can you climb out the window and get to the front door?" I asked him. He looked up from his phone and up to the ceiling. "Um, I don't know. About ten minutes? Why?" 

"My mom wants to meet you."
