So warm . So fuzzy . I don't want to wake up

But luck was never on my side apparently as my universe of content was shattered .

I peeled open my eyes to be assaulted by bright sunlight streaming through the open windows .

AHH! TOo bright . too bright .

I raised my arm to cover my sensitive eyes , giving my eyes some time to adapt to the change .

When i removed  my arm , i could see clearly without the light killing my eyes .

Hmmm, judging form the sun's position , it should be about mid-day . 12 pm i guess

When I tried to push myself up to an upright position using my elbows,  halfway through , my elbows buckled , leaving me to fall back down into a lying position .

Why am i so weak?

I recalled that i was never this weak . So why? , i wondered .

Also , why does my whole body freaking hurt .

What happened?

When i tried to recall what happened , a flood of memories assaulted my brain . Leaving me in pain , again .

AHHHHH. My brain . My brain .

I felt horrible . Headaches , dizziness , muscle ache, you name it .

But that was not the worst problem . The worst problem was that i still did not know what caused the snow .

Hmmm might as well just wait for the servants when they come to check on me .

Seeing as how it was impossible for me to move , i just laid there , thinking , pondering .

~ after a while ~

" Pardon my intrusion " A maid said , entering my room .

When she saw that i was awake , her eyes widened into round saucers .

With my throat parched and dry , i said weakly , "Could i have some water ? And could you call for Mother ? "

The maid stood there in shock . Why? i'm not so sure myself .

Hmmm maybe she did not hear me . Perhaps i should repeat my request .

Just as i was about to painfully open my mouth a second time , the maid snapped out of her stupor .

" At once , milady. " The maid said , quietly leaving the room .

Well that saved me from some pain .

After what felt like a million years of pain passed , the maid returned with Mother and my water . .

Mother looked very youthful with light green hair and blue eyes .

She was rarely around the manor because she spent her days in the fields or greenhouse cultivating herbs . I always envied how she looked so beautiful and elegant despite spending her days in the field.

Mother was a researcher at heart, she usually spends her time divided between researching in a lab or cultivation of medicinal plants .

From time to time she also went out on journeys across the country , to test out her new medicines .

Well , i guess she was what they called an "exquisite specimen".

( A/N : note that this is not being said in a creepy way . It's just how this kid's brain works . )
