Chapter 40: caring for marshall

I'm up at 2:00 to check on Marshall he is still stable and making princess hang in thare I whisper the other pups are in a room that I set up for them. Chase who is close with Marshall is still upset he has Marshall's pup tag in his paw I can't believe my brother is in a coma. I'm so angry I can't believe what happened did I'm at a loss of words. I'm he stated to cry again. Skye comforts chase while I do the rest of the testing for Marshall  is doing well and with that he's starting to feel better. Not fully better yet. Rain.. Marshall said as he looked around where Am I? Well I said as I knelt beside his bed you're at my clinic  you got hurt badly yesterday. Oh Marshall lets  out a sigh. You're breathing normally so I can take off the oxygen mask. So much happed I honestly feel like I let myself down . No you never did. Really? Marshall questions yes. I need to run out real quick chase can you watch Marshall? Of course I can thank you chase . Marshall chase said as tears flowed down his cheeks you had me worried sick. I'm sorry chase Marshall said as he puts a paw on chases shoulder I'm sorry to put you through this I'm such a fall. No you're not Marshall chase said we thought you were a goner. I'm okay Marshall smiled at chase. Yes I can definitely see that you are .Marshall tackles chase into a hug. I'm so happy I love you brother. Aw chase smiled as he embraced Marshall's hug love you more please do me a favor Marshall what? The Dalmatian asked um can you walk? Okay I can try he got up and walked his paw was hurting. Ow Marshall whines in. I'll wrap it up for you Marshall okay chase smiled let's see he went in place bandage and got one for Marshall's paw . And warped it twice.  It is so much better than before. Thanks chase. Marshall smiled. No problem. We are family after all chase smiles we take care of each other. Oh yea I forgot about that.  Marshall sighed and looked at his warped paw. I'm the one that is helping people and not recovering. It's Annoying chase. You're fine chase smiles and your paw will be fine also. I know it just trust me on this. Okay Marshall smiled your right chase can you please stay with me? For the night Marshall said yes I can definitely stay with you Marshall was happy that he had some company. Since being in a room alone bugs Marshall out.  I'm here chase says as he on the bed chase Marshall whispers yea buddy chase asked thanks for helping me. Absolutely chase said as he fell asleep but he realized Marshall was asleep beside him love you buddy chase smiled and with that he is asleep Marshall inched himself over to chase aw chase smiled and hugged his brother close to him the morning was great chase smiles at Marshall got up and went for a walk he took a deep breath and smiled as morning Marshall how did you sleep? Great . Good I'm glad you did as he smiled Marshall limps on his paw  to watch the sun set what are you doing? Chase asked as he was not happy with Marshall. I was watching the sun and aw his words went off. It's okay Marshall. I'm not mad I'm just making sure you're okay really chase? Yes  let's go back to the lookout and see everyone. Marshall hopes into chase's curser and got ready for  the ride to the lookout. Ryder Marshall's back awesome  let's set him up in the lookout I'll sleep with him tonight Ryder smiled okay. Ryder got comfortable with Marshall and was out like a light good night Ryder Marshall smiled. Night Marshall Ryder said as his head hits his pillow. Marshall curled up beside Ryder and went to sleep.
