chapter 1: steel and sell

Julies pov

It was just a normal day in the forest, just laying in the willows branches, soundly sleeping, the breeze nice and warm, spring is finally here, I breath in slowly, enjoying the peacefullness, I suddenly feel a small tap on my shoulder, I flutter my eyes open and look a the shoulder that was taped, to see my dear little fairy helper and friend, I smile at her but she doesn't smile back she looks scared and panicked,"excuse me my lady, but there are humans on there way, they have a cage!", I furrowed my brows and sit up, to indeed see humans approaching my willow tree, my wings flitter in confusion,'why are the humans out this far in the woods?', my thoughts wonder until I see them getting closer. They stop infront of my willow afew steps back though, the leader im guessing steps forward and clears his throught,
"MAIDEN OF THE WILLOWS WE HAVE COME TO GET YOU, FOR OUR HOMES ARE NO MORE AND LANDS DEAD, OUR KING SAID TO RETRIEVE YOU AND HE WILL GIVE US FOOD, SO WE TAKE YOU BY FORCE OR YOU AGREE!?", I furrowed my brows in anger and my wings grow larger, the humans step back alittle scared to anger the forests protector,"You think I would go with you pathetic hollow things, my pasition is to stay and protect the forest from you worthless things, so leave or I will make everyone of you into new fertile for my willow!", They look at there leader with scared faces, I can see there leaders jaw clenching, he holds up his hand, making me raise a brow, as soon as his hand goes down the humans attacked me and my willow, I was quick to put my wings in my back and my little fairy in a light ball and in my chest so they couldn't get to her or my wings, but sadly I was unable to save my willow tree, they cut down my tree as I cryed for them to stop, they threw me in the cage, I hug myself as they Carry me away to the kings dungeons.     

                  *********Thousand years later***********

Burned, abused, used, and tortured, they have done these things to me for one thousand years, I have no marks on me because o my healing abilities, my hair has gotten longer, past my feet it would have been longer but I cut it to stay like that, my body has changed since that day as well, I've seemed to have gotten curvyer, and my chest a bit bigger, and my butt is bigger as well, since the humans captured me I've been sold so many times I lost count, at the meantime I'm being sold in the troll market, my back against the wall my hands chained, dress dirtied and ripped, brown with dirt and dust, I play with my long white hair, gently braiding it and unbraiding it, I stop braiding my hair as I feed what I have left to the little tooth fairies beside me, they respected me because I'm the protector of the forest, so basically the little tooth fairies were my children, I kept my fairy helper inside my chest because Im scared to take her out, If I do I could loose her, the troll selling me voice broke me out of the trance with the tooth fairies,"AA, Prince Nuada what can I help you with today?", I look at the fairy's in worry, they look back and smile, others would think that it would be creepy or scary, but to me they look cute as can all be, I suddenly frown as I hear this 'prince nuada' guy say something,"I wan the fairies." His voice was calm, my eyes widen as I hear the troll coming closer, out of instinct I wrap my arms and wings around the fairies in the cages, as a mother would protect there child, the troll rolls his eyes as he shoves me out of the way and on the ground, I see the troll grab the cases and hand them to this other troll next to 'nuada' a small tear escaped my eye as I see my 'children' being taken away from me, the 'Nuada' guy looks at me with curiosity, when he suddenly points at me,"I want her to.", My eyes widen with fear as I try to crawl away, the troll roughly grabs my hair and brings me closer, he unlocked my chains, and threw me, I was supposed to hit the ground, but I suddenly feel arms around me and a chest, I freeze suddenly scared, I slowly look up and see a very attractive male, he had markings on his face, long white hair, pointed ears 'oh an elf', what got me was his eyes they were like gold, with a small red mix in it, he looked at the troll glaring at him softly, "Have you no respect for woman?", his voice like silk with a touch of anger and annoyance, before the troll says anything this big metal hand punches it and he goes flying, I look at the thing beside Nuada, as his hand came back to him, it was connected to a chain, I suddenly feel myself being picked up bridle style, I squeak and put my wings back in my back in surprise as Nuada looks down at me with curiosity, he looks back up walks away as the troll with the metal arm followed and carryed my 'children' on each of his shoulders, I faintly smile as I feel warm for once and before I know it I'm soundly asleep in Nuadas arms.

                                              Nuadas pov

I look down at the woman I picked up with the fairies, she was a beauty, her long white hair, her soft skin, pink lips, soft green eyes, her cut pointed ears, her wings a beautiful shiny white with the mix of greens, but what really stuck out was how she reacted when I said I want the fairies, she was protective of them like a mother with her child, it made sense, she was a fairy to so it was pretty much her job to protect them. As I made my way to my hide out, I feel her start to shake, 'surely she is not cold?', I look down and see small tears go down her eyes, as one of her hands clutched my clothes, 'must be a nightmare', I continue my way until I reach it, I gently set her down on my bed and cover her up she faintly smiles as she snuggles deeper in the bed, her wings came out, as they flutter softly, I gently get some hair out of her face, an walk away to do some practice.

                                           Julies pov

I gently awaken to the sound of water and metal clashing, I gently sit up and realize this place is different, I wasn't in the troll market, I get out of the comfortable bed and make my way to the sound, gently floating a few inches off the ground, my wings fluttering softly behind me, as I made my way to the source of the sounds, I float next to the troll with the metal hand, as I look at Nuada practice, his moves were so swift and quick, he stops and stands up slowly, "how long have you been there my friend?" I hear the troll beside me yell?, Nuada point a my 'children',
"there over there, I haven't fed them, at all" he then looks up, as I sneak my way to the fairies, I hear him faintly say, "don't be shy my friend, it's time to destroy these hollow things once and for all.", I freeze as I hear his say the last thing 'destroy these hollow things once and for all?, Is he talking about the humans!?', I look over at him and see him already looking my way, my body freezes as he comes closer to me, he bends down on one knee and gently caressed my cheek, "I see your awake." I gently nod, he looks at me and gently smiles,"I'm Prince Nuada, of the elves, and you are?", I gently smile as well as I say my name,"m-my name is J-Julie, protector of the f-forest." I could see his eyes change to a feeling I couldn't quite put my finger on, he narrowed his eyes, "And are you with the humans or are you willing to help me start a war?" It was my turn to narrow my eyes,
"The humans have taken me from my home one thousand years ago, and killed my willow and meny other of my trees and fairies, I have one left and I wish for her safety, so I'm with you Prince Nuada, I despise the humans with a deep hatred, I wanna see them burn and suffure." Once I was done with my speech he smiles at me,"well then we strick in 30 minutes, can you fight?" I look at him and gently shake my head," forgive me, My Prince, I cannot fight for I am weak, once I lost my willow my power died so I only have 50% of my powers left, but I still with to go with, please?" He looks at me for a second, as he nods I smile and stand, once he turned his back, I gently awaken my dear fairy helper/friend and take her out of my chest, the glow dies down and I smile as I see her rub her eyes, as she looks up at me I smile, she beams as she bows,"my lady, it has been a long time, but your beauty only increases!" I chuckle at her and gently smile,"yes, it has been one thousand years since I saw you, and those thousand years I have kept you safe and out of harm" she smiles and nods, I gently put her neer the other fairies,
"play nice tooth fairies, she's my dear friend" I told them firmly, they nod and begin talking fairy, I look at Nuada and notice he watched the whole thing, I blush as I look away, he comes closer to me and wraps an arm around my waist, I squeak in surprise and cling to him, he looks at the troll,"wink grab the fairies and let's go!" As soon as he said that he jumps up and out of the sewers to a, I think it's called a 'musium'?, Wink and my fairie fallows after us, the is gonna be such fun.
