As the wind blows, the autumn leaves cover that abandoned shack which is now owned by Derek. A 25-year-old tall and handsome guy. The deep ocean eyes holder with an attractive personality and a muscular body, have the heart of every girl in the town. However, he's not the one to throw hearts at every girl in the area. His anger and willingness for revenge have turned him into a villain. The rage is visible in his eyes, and the struggles he has faced throughout his life have made him a furious young man. He's known as the most short-tempered man of the community, yet most dedicated to his duties and work.

Just as every other day, Derek was woken up by the sunlight traveling all the way from the sky through that hole in the wall and encountering his eyes. His shack is so close to falling one day. Dirty floors, empty bottles, torn boxes are everywhere to be found. The little shack is surrounded by other shacks in the same condition. The autumn air never seemed to leave the place. It's very deep and dark there. Just like the hearts of people living there. Everyone there have different stories that shined on their foreheads in that unlit area. Derek living there just suits it all well. The smell was terrible. All you could smell was alcohol and cigarettes. The atmosphere was full of tales, coldness in hearts, soft corners for each other, loyalty, and fear.

He got up and stood in front of his mirror that reflected all you refer to as beyond beauty. All from his sharp jawline to the scars on his body, which occurred by his loyalty and dedication, could be seen on the glass. He wore his signature clothes, how his friends described it, that day as well. The jet-black leather jacket with casual comfortable clothes and the boots he never dared to replace. No one ever dared to speak against him whenever he was out of his nest. Small things would annoy him and take his fury to another level. Some of them would never understand the depth of it, little did they know how his life got affected by a thing no one ever thought he would carry with him his all life.

As soon as the sun is observable in the sky, the first thing Derek always did was to go and greet his boss who he worshipped like a god. He was his life changer. He felt home and welcomed among his boss and his people. They were just like him. They all carried heavy, sorrowful hearts too. Since the day he left the orphanage, he has always thought about revenge and anger. It had been 20 years since his parents left him there, he never forgot that. He never wanted to. Every day he thought about it and a fire elevated inside of him as well as it raised his body temperature. If you touched, you would feel like a volcano hit your soul. But that day was special. He was obliged to do something he had no experience of. He has never kept himself close to someone before in his life, he never tolerated that. He could never spend more than a few hours with someone, he never had time for that. Still, he had to do that. Not just with a stranger, but a girl. How the plan of kidnapping her would lead to no naps for everyone involved, but when money is what rules everything around, then there's nothing much you can do to stop the harm it could cause.

Derek never challenged to say something in offense, he felt like drowning under his boss' kindness and favors, so he didn't. He was his favorite after all. He used to get only special high-profile cases. It would never be like beating up random street guys which never mattered that much. But right after everything was planned, Derek was on the hunt for his prey.

On the other hand, there was that cheerful, fun-loving girl for whom love meant everything. One could never apprehend how she could connect love with every achievable object. Although she never got to feel that at her own house since nobody had the time. Alice was a beautiful, pale-skinned girl with eyes that would remind you of the colorful spring flowers. Despite being rich, she would never put anyone down or keep her standards high. That was the girl every guy dreamt of. While some guys visualize life with her, she was unknown to how someone out there was dreaming something opposite.
