Chapter 3

After the bell rang I headed towards my locker noticing that Luke was there.

"Hey babe." He kissed me on the cheek. "Hey." I replied "where were you? I haven't seen you half the day?" I added.

"Oh I uh..I had to leave school early because my mom wanted me to do something for her." He says. I nodded believing him as We walked to the entrance of the school.
I turned and faced him, you can leave first i'm heading to Katie's place this afternoon so she's giving me a ride." I tell him,

"Oh okay." He replied kissing my cheek and walking towards his car. I turned around and noticed Katie and Lori heading my way.

"Hey you ready to go?" Katie asks me.

"Yeah" I replied and we headed towards the car.

On the way

"Hey maze....uhh do you wanna-wanna go to the party your brother is keeping?" Lori asked me.

"What no! This night is supposed to be our night." I whined. They looked at me apologetically

"Sorry mazie..." they both said in unison, "but won't you try and enjoy yourself by going to a party, you haven't done that in a while." Katie asked.
And Lori nodded. "Nope." I said stubbornly.

"Ugh fine! Then let's go to my place." Katie said, "I have a surprise." She smirked, and Lori and I looked at her knowingly smirking alongside her.

As we pulled Into Katie's driveway upon exiting the car I saw Ryders car present. Wasn't he supposed to be at my place...?

I ignored my confused thoughts and we all walked towards the door, I went to the kitchen to retrieve some glasses for everyone as I was doing so, I caught sight of a very recognizable figure standing behind the island.

His charming, mysterious blue eyes left what it was doing and caught up into my hazel ones, lost in a what seemed like a long moment of eye contact. His compelling blue eyes curved into a crescent shaped , brightly
Looking at me leaving me in a daze. I even found myself following his exact movements.

He quickly looked away which snapped me out of my daze "uhh...you need something?" He asked in a tone which was hoarse yet annoyed...why-why was he annoyed. I couldn't figure it out. I reluctantly stopped staring at him until a brief moment after my eyes involuntarily looked back widened, subconsciously roaming and accepting the view before it..:his broad shoulders....firm muscles....eight-pa-..

"Enjoying?" Ryder interrupted my thoughts, my eyes grew even bigger "w-what!! No!! En-enjoy what?!" I stammered, sh*t I knew for sure that I sounded guilty that all I could think of is digging a hole and burying myself!!! Why was I so flustered!! Ugh!

"I'm-j-just" I looked around for an excuse. Then it hit me! "I'm here to collect something for Katie." I said, it was indeed the truth m. I proceeded in collecting the glasses from the cupboard, I quickly dashed out if the kitchen running up the stairway, I definitely know that he was smirking at my fast running figure.
