A lot of the habits I have now are habits I've picked up from my mother. For example, my need for three cups of coffee every day before 10:00am. The not-so-normal need to buy shoes for Christmas every year and lastly the habit of being in the house before 8:00. The last one wasn't a choice though. Everyone developed the habit of being in the house before 8:00.
Life changed for the worse about six years ago. People started getting abducted and strange job offers were popping up everywhere with the illusion of a 'chance of a lifetime.' Thankfully, my mom was strict enough to not want me to get a job during high school. Who knows what would have happened to me if I decided to get one of those jobs back then.
