Wala nang pakialam si Victoria sa reputasyon na iniingatan niya. If she could come back to Special Action Force by blackmailing the Police General, she would do it over and over again.

Pumatak ang mata ng nagpupuyos na Police General sa hawak niyang flash drive. She maintained her straight face.

"What do you want, Police Senior Inspector. De la Vega?" Anito

Hindi nagpatinag si Victoria. She maintained an authorative aura to have the upperhand.

She coughed to clear her throat.

"I want you to dismiss my remaining months of punishment. I want to be back in Special Action Force the moment I step out your office."

Nangliit ang mga mata ng Police General at pagka-ilang segundo ay nakakainsultong tumawa.

"Who are you to give orders to the Police General? Huh, Police Senior Inspector de la Vega?"

Marahang tumikhim si Victoria. She smiled afterwards.

"I am not giving you orders, Sir. I am blackmailing you." Aniya at ngumiti.

"Excuse me?" Tumaas ang kilay ng matanda.

Victoria remained seated. She wasn't the type to do lowly things pero ito lang ang nakikita niyang paraan para makabalik sa SAF.

Kinuha niya ang isang memory card at nilapag iyon sa harapan ng nagngangalit na matanda.

"I wore a body cam that night, Police General... Nasa memory card na 'yan ang maaaring makasira sa pangalan mo. All I am asking is to bring me back to SAF. I really needed to be back as soon as possible."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Mariing pagtanggi nito. "I could even get you stripped off your title sa mga sinasabi mong ito. I have you recorded on my phone, hija." Pinakita ng matanda ang kanyang cellphone.

"You do that and this video will leak. I could be put in disciplinary actions but you, you will be judged by the whole country. For that matter it will forever taint your name. Alam kong alam niyo ang video na tinutukoy ko. Come on, we're both intelligent people. One click and your reputation and your pretty little family will hit rock bottom in a sec."

Namutla ang Police General pero saglit pa ay nakabawi rin.

"Why are you so eager to go back in SAF? Hmmm..." may lamang sabi nito sa kanya.

"I heard you are involved with that soldier and now he is wanted... Tsk. Akala ko ba marunong kang kumilatis ng tao? You're top of your class pero nabilog ka rin pala ng traydor. Hindi ka marunong pumili ng lalaki, hija."

"At ikaw, General? Magaling kang pumili ng lalaki?" Nagpaparinig niya sabi at ngumisi.

Hindi mapigilan ng Police General ang galit niya.

"How dare you?" Anito at hinampas ang mesa na para bang matatakot niya si Victoria.

Victoria sighed and stood up. Kinuha niya ang maliit na memory card.

"You will get the only copy of your video after you wrote my return to SAF. You better think, Sir. I am so sure that your wife and your children wouldn't like to know about your secret. I will expect your favorable response in two days."

She slammed the doors at napasandal roon. Hawak-hawak niya ang dibdib niya hanggang sa makauwi siya sa bahay. She did not have the appetite to eat kaya mas pinili niyang makatulog.
