   I didn't see this coming at all,my dad talking about my birthday at dinner..... He should have told me he was going to bring it up. Its not bad,I mean every father should be excited about their child's special day but__ there's just a tiny problem,I don't know if its tiny or medium or large though.

   The problem is Adrian__ yeah I know you are thinking why my boyfriend is a problem here. We just recently started dating.... Like officially and I forgot to tell him my birthday was in a few days,I always wanted to but it kept skipping off my mind. Now he's hearing it from the table like he's a complete stranger,I hope it wont hurt him. He should have also asked too but who can I blame here......

   "Princess go on....." Dad said.

  "Uhm..... Yes..... My birthday is in a few days" I said stuttering.

   "Few days??!" Adrian asked with a face that had no clue on it.

   "Yes!! Three More days to be exact..... My princess will be an official and legal lady!!" Dad said with excitement.

   "Cmon Dad! I'm legal"

  "No you are not 'yet'" Mum said as she burst out laughing alongside Dad and Hailey.

    I wasn't really comfortable with the joke seeing Adrian's face,I mean he wasn't wearing a frown on his face but I could bet a part of him was feel sad. So I decided to change the topic...... Honestly I did not know what to talk about and that's when it slipped out of my mouth,a total buster..... Something I wanted to tell my parents but I had not figured out a way all this while and there it was......!!!

   "I want to go to Julliard!!"

   "Sorry honey" Mum said as it was so obvious that she wanted me to repeat myself.

   "I wanna major in Music at Julliard" I said with the last pint of courage in me.

   "Julliard?? Music?? Honey you hate singing and playing the instrument,I know what your Dad and I went through to make you overcome the trauma of your singing years,it wasn't easy trust me and you want to go back into it?!" Mum said.

     "That was before Mum..... Before when I refused to get a hold of myself and accept things for what they are. I love Music,I love singing and I think its best you let me do it..... I've spent lots of years struggling in high school and if I get into college and end up studying some random course,I might end up still struggling so let me do what I love..... Pls Mum Pls Dad!"

   "And how do you suppose you'd get into Julliard, i mean its not easy to get into such a school......" Dad asked

     "I have it all covered, I mean Adrian has it covered..... Adrian" I called to him to take over.

   "Yes..... Uhm..... To get into a College of Art like Julliard isn't hard,all she has to do is apply for the scholarship exam we write during our final year in high school,it's our final exam and Tania can apply to Julliard. Studying shouldn't be a problem,she'd go to night class and get pumped..... I can give her extra lessons if you don't mind and give her some of my books which she can use to study, I'm certain she'll ace the exam!" Adrian explained.

   "Hmm,I see you got it all covered..... So it was you who talked her into this then?!" Dad said with a frown.

   "Dad..... I told him what I wanted..... He didn't talk me into....." I tried explaining then Dad cut in with rage in his voice.

   "I asked you Adrian..... Was it you who filled her head with thoughts and talked her into this?!!"

   "Yeah..... Actually I did" Adrian said simply.

   "I see,since you got her studying covered...... I hope you have all of her expenses covered as well..... I mean you connived with her without involving her parents so I don't think I have any say in this whatsoever!!"

   "Honey!" Mum said to calm him down

   "Don't 'honey' me!!! Your sick daughter is making plans to go to a college so far away we might not see her for several months and you are okay with it uhn!!!"

   "Sick daughter??? I'm fine now..... I'm not sick anymore Dad" I said as I was confused already.

   "If only you knew..... You are just so ignorant!" He said as he stood up from the dining and left.

   Technically dinner was ruined, Mum stood up to console Dad. Hailey whom was feeling awkward took a 'pretend phone call' and she also left. It was just Adrian and I on the table, I couldn't move or speak,I was feeling so awkward and confused........ I don't still understand what my Dad said "If only I knew"__ I mean what don't I know or is there something they are not telling me,I'm fine right? Aarghh!! Why so many thoughts tonight,it was supposed to be a perfect dinner,why did my career talk ruin everything? Shouldn't they be happy for me? I mean I'm finally coming out of my shell..... Finally trying to see the better things in life and it made my Dad mad.

   I snapped out of my thoughts and turned to look at Adrian but he wasnt on the Table anymore, he must have left while I was soliloquizing.

   Slowly, I stood up and looked at the table 'it was a sad mess'. I packed the plates to the dishwasher and cleaned the table,I took care of the place and took the thrash out. That's when I saw him.....

  My prince charming, he never left..... He just sat on the front porch. He didn't seem happy,well what happened tonight wouldn't leave you happy. I dropped the thrash and sat close to him,I was feeling remorseful and didn't even know how and what to say.

   " I'm sorry........ I didn't mean to__"

  "Three days??!! Seriously?!...... I shouldn't be the last person to know, I shouldn't be..... It's my babe's birthday and I don't even have a bucket list of fun things planned out,I'm hurt!!" He said with his cute pity face.

    Okay okay! I didn't see that coming, not that I didnt see it but I thought he was pissed because of what my Dad pulled out back there. Nevertheless, he's so cute when he's mad.

    "I didn't mean to leave that out..... Not at all,I'm really sorry babe...... Pls forgive me 😪👐"

   "I'm still mad at you but I know what can cool me down......"

   "What what??!! Tell me!!"

  "A nose-nose kiss" He said staring at me like a lost puppy😅

   "That's easy...... Come here" I said as I was happy to wiggle my nose with his nose.

     I stared at him with a wide smile on my face then I held his face with both of my hands and slowly I brought my nose closer to his and rubbed it back and forth,but Adrian had a plan😅...... He put his arm around my waist and pulled my closer and from the nose-nose,it turned to a mouth-mouth and as calm and beautiful,he gave me a long kiss. We almost took it rough as the heat crept on my skin and I sat on his legs as he caressed back and forth, as he started to unzip my gown....... I whispered in his ear "We are right in front of my porch".

   " Dang it!! When am I going to go down?!!" He said like an infant that couldn't wait to devour his feeding bottle.

   "Probably when we are not on the porch"

   And we laughed loudly.

  I went to bed happy that night after the whole incident....... I mean my Dad is still mad at me but we'll definitely talk tomorrow but Adrian kissed me,againnnn!!!!! I couldn't stop screaming__in my head. It was so real and so awesome..... Yeah its not the first or second time but its happening again and I'm having fireworks in my head. Yippeeeee 🎆🎆 😁😁

    The next day while snuggling my pillow and trying to avoid the ray of sunshine on my bed,I felt a presence in my room. I slowly opened my eyes and I couldn't believe what I saw..... What in the world!!!
