Y/N POV:

"Yeah Grandma.. Don't worry about it." you were talking to your Grandmother on the phone while waiting for a cab to come pick you up.

"Grandma, Don't worry, I am doing just fine. I mean, Its not like I haven't been to Japan, I mean its my hometown and its only been like what, three years?" You say unconsciously while impatiently walking around in a small loop of circles.

" I Know dear, I am just preoccupied of you! Can't I be a little bit cautious for my precious little y/n?" Your grandmother's soothing voice rings through the phone.

You can't help but let out a small laugh and bid your farewells as you both hang up because of the terrible connection from Japan and North America.

You look down upon your phone, scrolling and looking at the few notifications and messages you had from some friends back in America.

You shut off your phone, ignoring the messages because they were not your top priority at the moment. You had to get to the small apartment you were renting for college.

You had no interest in sharing a room or having a roommate in the college because of your past experiences.

You seemed to attract toxic people into your life, not just your roommates, but friends and boyfriends as well. Man, how unlucky you were.  Probably the only non toxic person in your life that you valued the most was your Grandmother.

She loved you so deeply and took care of you especially when your parents did not.

When you were a child , you lived in a toxic, unhealthy, and atrocious household. It pretty much sucked. Your parents never really noticed nor laid their attention to you.  They were always on business trips, so you had to learn how to maintain yourself ever since you were little.

On your last year of high school,  Your parents had left you, and never appeared again. You had contacted your grandmother, who lived and still lives in North America, and she had brought you there immediately.

It was so immediate that you did not give your friends notice of the event and occasion for why you had to leave.

Now that you look back, you feel guilty, but you can not be focusing on that now. You have things to do.

You were back in Japan after 3 whole years. You were feeling a entire whir of feelings and emotions. You were not only feeling a tint of guilt, but also excited, nervous, scared, & curious of what your hometown may bring to you.

You look around and see your cab passing by, slowly. You wave slightly at the cab, letting them know you were there. As they notice your signal, they head towards you, and park near the sidewalk. They help carry your suitcases and significant things that were your belongings.  The cab who turns out looking like a young and small adult apologizes to you and bows down.

"Gomen, It is my first day on the job, and I was not prepared properly. Gomen !" The young blonde girl says to you. You think she is simply adorable, and kind of reminds you of yourself back when you were in high school. Clumsy and unconscious.  Adding to that, she had a cute side ponytail.

You laugh lightly, responding " It's okay, Don't worry! I understand. I'm Y/N L/N."

She looks at you in shock for a slight moment, but then responds with a simply adorable and innocent smile on her face as she laughs along with you  " I am Hitoka Yachi, Nice to meet you!"
